    Diets going well so far, not had any biscuits OR crisps. and you all know how much I love crisps haha I used to have a pack every night. Couldn't imagine doing that now!

    Have been feeling a little on the hungry side though but I'm guessing I'll adjust or just need to find some low cal snacks to fill the gaps!

    I've mainly just been eating fruits, vegs, proteins and fats but trying to eat "good fats" but I've definitely made a change.
    Now just need to wait for the results!

    2) None of DH's stash ok today (including chocolate truffles, candy, chocolate raisins, peeps, ice cream).
    3) No peanut butter ok today, 2.5 to 3 T (last 6/13)
    4) Won't weigh again until 6/20
    5) No hard cheese ok today (trying not to have cheese everyday) (last 6/18). Note: some grated parmigiana cheese has always been allowed and doesn't count towards hard cheese. Hard cheese at restaurant ok. Can have cheese with restaurant meals.
    6) No honey ok today(1-3 Tbsp.), unless it's my dessert as per #1. (last 4/21) (a little in honey mustard ok)(last)
    7) Nuts ok (22-30 g) or 12-14 in-the-shell nuts. (last 1/20) Additional nuts in a meal are ok. Like almonds already in green beans. No more of the canned mixed nuts today.
    8) No vienna sausage ok today (trying not to have higher sodium stuff everyday)(last 6/14)
    9) No sweet potato and/or pumpkin ok today.(last 5/18)

    Did none of my chores yesterday, and I'm kind of ok with that. I went to trivia and then after trivia I went to The Dixie to shoot pool. It's an old school local bar, but I had never been there. Had a lot of fun didn't drink as it was getting late and I was driving. There was one guy there who knew me. I know his wife, but don't recall ever having met him before. Anyway, he was nice. I played ok, not great. Got home much later than anticipated, but hubby was cool about it. Today is a work day, but there aren't many folks here. We had Juneteenth off and a lot of folks decided to make it a long weekend. Meetings are being canceled left & right. I need to get out by 4:00 so I can meet a friend to ride bikes this evening. Not sure what we are riding, roads, trails or gravel, but it will be fun.

    Late posting today, but better than last two days not posting at all. Just didn't make time with all the other stuff.

    JFT 6/20 R ~ started morning off raining again, stopped for now & hopefully this evening
    1) Purchase salad for supper at garden / one adult beverage / log all food (best guess) / NO crazy snacking / 80+ oz. water
    2) Min. 7,500 steps
    3) Massage 11:15 aahhh! / wash dishes / empty kitchen bucket & flower vase in compost bin / pick up hubby's supper at grocery deli (he doesn't care for the healthy food by the local vendor at the garden LOL) / GBBG concert 6:00 (take umbrella just in case, bug spray, can koozie, light jacket?) / other?

    This morning I tried a new recipe for breakfast parfait with almond butter (my first time trying, very good), Greek yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, berry syrup, honey, cinnamon. It was very good, although high in calories. I may tweak the recipe (I usually try a recipe as written, the first time) to cut the calories. Otherwise, really need a good workout that day!

    Speaking of workouts, haven't had a dog walk since last Friday. Between lots of rain and very hot/humid weather this week, no chance. Sad me & sad dog. Did do PT one of the days I didn't have much else going on.

    • Take measurements & log on MFP every month end
    2) Plan meals most days & prelog meals/snacks whenever possible on MFP
    • Try new recipes Unfortunately, no wall oven until mid-Feb or later & sad me, but try slow cooker & stove recipes... wall oven installed 2/26 but no new recipes yet.
      * lentil rice sausage tortellini soup (internet) ~ very good, recipe is keeper
      * glazed lemon cookies (internet search) ~ everyone loved them at Easter dinner
      * rhubarb cobbler (in my first ever cookbook BH&G) ~ very good, I want to try with other fruits this summer
      * yellow cake (BH&G cookbook) ~ I followed instructions closely & blended well, very good with rhubarb sauce
      * white chicken enchiladas (newspaper) ~ very good, although 2 tortillas with recipe as written 846 calories (created in MFP recipes)
      * Greek yogurt almond butter breakfast parfait (newsletter) ~ terrific, if high in calories... maybe tweak
    3) Exercise 5-6x per week (minimum 4x):
    January: 5 days x2wks, 4x1, 3x1, 1x1 [1 wk lots of snow & 1 wk bitter cold so shoveling, treadmill & PT, 1 wk 4 day trips out of town]
    February: 6 days x1wk, 5x1, 4x1, 2x1 [2 wks overnight trips to visit parents]
    March: 5 days x1wk, 4x1, 3x1, 0x1 [ack... prep house & food for Easter dinner; 1 wk overnight trip to visit parents]

    Bike ride yesterday was nice. It was slow, but the ride was more about girl time that hitting it hard. Did something to my left eye, or allergies are attacking, Either way, it is unpleasant. It's better today in that it doesn't hurt continuously, but it is extremely light sensitive. Oh well, it will heal.

    Not much on the agenda today. Work, home, then I think we are going to a wings joint to watch the hockey game this evening with a friend.

    Yesterday was good. My team lost the hockey game, but that happens.

    Taught spin this morning and it was a good class of I day so myself. Going to rest a bit then maybe go out for a bike ride. I might melt, but that’s ok. I tend to like the heat, I just have to make sure I hydrate enough while I’m out. Other than that V wants me to bleach her hair this evening. Well the under layers.

    Girlfriend is in no shape to ride her bike in 100F heat. Man it was painful even though it was short. First 8 mins was sweet, next 30 minutes was A-W-F-U-L.

    did not weight today . Been fighting a cold for days and I have never sneazed so much in my life! In spite of feeling a bit under the weather I still did a 12+ mile bike ride. It was hot and I got a good work out even though I had planned to take today easy. Might have gotten a bit too much sun and now resting for the afternoon. The wind is relentless and don't feel like doing anything but lay on the couch for rest of the day.

    The UK weather has been so annoying.

    ALL of May and June (apart from one weekend in May) has been cold and rain every day just on and off on and off.

    And now it's a friggin heatwave but like... TOO hot. Like you go outside and melt instantly.
    The gym has Aircon but you barely feel it!

    Got some work to do. Also still have work to do controlling my IBS which makes everything more complicated and leads to a lot of anxiety around food. But I don’t have quite as many bad days any more.
