Uh oh. Looks like I am going the wrong way again the first half of this month. I seem to have gained over three pounds in two weeks. The good news is that I already hit a high weight on the scale and am starting to come back down - the average stopped going up and will start coming back down along with the scale in a few days. Even with this backslide, I've lost about 4.4 pounds this year.

06/09-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- Several trips disrupting my weekend/week. Travel always wreaks havoc on the scale. Next trip is very early Tuesday morning to the Cardiologist for a follow-up due to some symptoms. I donβt think my scale will level off until at least Thursday. Iβm not sure when I will want to weigh between now and then, however, every day I am home and not out-of-town or traveling I will be mindful of both food and exercise, God willing.
06/16-184.4-(Trend Weight: 185.5)- I would have been about a pound or more down from my last weigh-in if not for yesterdayβs calendar. Yesterday was a double whammy for sure. First a graduation (food-filled) open house for my best friends granddaughter (sitting, sitting, sitting), then we traveled out of town to go to the movies to see Inside out 2, Disney Pixar, {Sitting, sitting, sitting again}. I did not eat dinner out of town as I was still stuffed from the lunchtime open house. I also skipped all food and drinks (except water) at the movie theater. However, by last night I was hungry again and over did it. Too much food overall for the day, not enough water, and way too much sitting did me in for sure. Today is a family BBQ for Fathers Day so it wonβt likely get any better in the immediate but I will work on better numbers throughout the week for next weigh-in. Have a glorious Sunday my friends!

I'm so disappointed with myself this week. I was doing well and on Friday weighed 197. Then I stopped logging over the weekend. Father's day meal out yesterday didn't help. Made chocolate crispy crackles with my 4 year old and I can't resist so had 3 of those over the weekend. Ended up the same as last week. I know some of it will be water weight but it's just so frustrating to be back in the same position as a week ago.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm 55. My highest weight was 150 a few months ago. I'm a little late joining, but finally got some free time to focus on keeping track of my numbers. It's amazing what 30 lbs of fat looks like on a 5'3" small boned woman. Life happened, alcohol sneaked in and destroyed my health. Thankfully, I finally got my life in order. I've been alcohol free for 136 days and feel so much better. I've been struggling with sugar since quitting alcohol, but I'm getting that under control too. Let's do this!

The only good news is that I didn't really gain any this week, but I'm still up three pounds for the month. The other decent news is I am still in my maintenance range, although I'm closer to the top than I'd like. I've lost about 4.3 pounds this year.

A bit better this week. Partner away for part of it so I was unable to get out for evening walks every night (childcare). Still feeling a bit better about it. The sun has come out finally which helps!
