    Thoughts:

    Last round I had my normal goal of a 12 pound loss which is approximately 4 lbs per month. That comes to about 90 days leaving the other 10 open for special holidays and social occasions. In theory, it’s a good plan. In practice it is a Mountain to Crawl up. However, each 100 day round I am extremely grateful for any progress I can make, no matter how big or small. I am also grateful for all the support from all of you that I get on a daily basis. Working on my health has become my #1 priority. My main goals are to maintain my remission by staying cancer free and to keep my diabetes in control. Losing weight is key to both goals.



    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    Day 88-07/06-DNW-(Trend weight DNW) My grandson is staying the whole weekend with me, unexpected, so I didn’t get a chance to weigh this morning as he woke me up and had me hopping! It probably would not have been pretty anyway. I will likely weigh in on Monday and skip tomorrow as he’ll probably beat me up again and also because I have not exactly been on point this holiday weekend. Weighing in is nothing that can’t wait I suppose. That scale is not exactly going anywhere although I’m tempted to chuck it in the trash from time to time.

    I have been at this tracking for quite awhile, on this particular thread for 15 out of the 19 iterations of it.
    I lost quite a bit (got to 130), but have been slowly gaining weight over the past 2 years despite my efforts.
    Highest weight was 207. Began on this thread at 198 pounds

    Day 85-07/03 - 149.0 - Banner day, I burned more than I ate largely due to having a whole day off, lots of Fitness Marshall songs, and many hours of digging, pulling, pushing, squatting, lunging etc. in the yard. Hope to see the results of that over the next few days. We are soon to get back to seasonal temperatures for this area, around 98f. I have more things to do in the yard before that hits, so I either have to get it done early in the morning before my 2 jobs or at 8pm. My potato garden was overtaken by Bindweed. It strangles plants and can't just be pulled or the entire plant comes out with it. I have cleared out 6 of the 10 rows, 3 on each day off. Much easier to do when it is dry and I know that I will have to water lots once the (late) high heat begins.

    Day 86-07/04 - 149.2 - Well, obviously no woosh, but not giving up. I got out when I got home from work just after 8pm and finished pulling the bindweed from the last rows of my potato garden. Sadly that also pulled out forming potatoes. I just tucked them in back under the soil. Prepping for the heatwave. Weeds come out easier when the soil is dry, so now I can water almost everything.

    Day 87-07/05 - 147.8 - I will take that as a long awaited woosh. Staying the course, although I plan on having a bit more of an indulgent evening after work on Saturday. 2.2 pounds left to lose in..12 more days. Doable?

    Day 88-07/06 - 147.0 - We are climbing into our summer weather here. I am going to try to get at least some of the grass cut before work later today.

    Day 89-07/07 - 148.4 - Ouch. Late to bed and too early to get up. I gathered a huge salad from the garden before work and ate that when I got home. I got overheated in the garden yesterday I think, so much to be done, but very hot. Calories and exercise were good, I hate when I see a gain like this.

    My goal is to be proud of my weight loss.

    Day 01 80.1 kg, I did my planned exercise but I overate a little bit (I'm tracking my intake), since I started tracking I've eaten out 4 times and I need to compensate for those times. I read "most people who lose weight will regain it within 5 years", I checked my old numbers and I'm 3.5 kg under what I weighed 5 years ago. I guess I'm in that category. I talked to my partner about my weight loss (something I'm trying to do less often).
    Day 02 80.0 kg, I ate below my ideal which should help me recover from previous overeating. I did my exercise sessions.
    Day 03 80.1 kg my eating is on track for the last 3 days but I need to recover from the previous 9 which averaged too high. I exercised and that's on track too. Disappointed that the scale is headed in the wrong direction but...
    Day 04 79.4 kg a big loss today. I did a lot of walking, I had sugary food for the first time in 8 days. I overate. Recently there have been 6 days when I overate a lot, I had sugary food 5 times. Coincidence?
    Day 05 79.8 kg just a normal day where I am good, no overeating and exercising is as required
    Day 06 80.4 kg I started two personal challenges, I had some sugary food because I won't be having sugary food for a while, so on Tuesday I gained...
    Day 07 80.6 kg my eating and exercise went well, still need to recover from the overeating episodes, maybe in 2-3 days that will happen
    Day 08 80.4 kg I had some treats and food I don't usually have, that's a negative, on the plus side I'm still exercising as I intended
    Day 09 80.3 kg I have a cold so I only managed half my exercise today, that's fine, eating was good.
    Day 10 80.2 kg another day when I ate properly, two days in a row, plus two exercise sessions.
    Day 11 79.7 kg a good day in terms of exercise and eating
    Day 12 78.7 kg I don't see a 1 kg loss very often, anyway I overate again, although my exercise was as planned
    Day 13 79.3 kg Another good day, exercise and diet were good. I've decided to attempt to lose 10 kg in 100 days - so this will move over to the next round. Starting tomorrow.
    Day 14 79.4 kg I ran the numbers to see whether I could lose 10 kg in 100 days and it seems iffy, however I'm not particularly hungry as I lose weight, so I guess I should just eat less. I overate and did my required amount of exercise. I looked at my intake graph and since day 1 there's been 7 days when I've overeaten.
    Day 15 79.7 kg I ate a bit too much and my exercise was less than required. 10 kg in 100 days: 10.3 kg to lose in 99 days. Can I do it? Probably.
    Day 16 79.6 kg I ate too much but my exercise was alright. I've decided to delay the 10 kg in 100 days idea until my weight loss 'settles down'
    Day 17 79.5 kg ate too much and didn't exercise at my desired level
    Day 18 80.4 kg whoa how did that happen? Maybe eating too much?
    Day 19 79.7 kg ate too much, exercise average is okay

If that happens I'll stop the challenge. So starting today, I'm aiming to lose weight again. 9.7 kg in 97 days? I probably can do that.

    I lost quite a bit (got to 130), but have been slowly gaining weight over the past 2 years despite my efforts.
    Highest weight was 207. Began on this thread at 198 pounds

    Day 85-07/03 - 149.0 - Banner day, I burned more than I ate largely due to having a whole day off, lots of Fitness Marshall songs, and many hours of digging, pulling, pushing, squatting, lunging etc. in the yard. Hope to see the results of that over the next few days. We are soon to get back to seasonal temperatures for this area, around 98f. I have more things to do in the yard before that hits, so I either have to get it done early in the morning before my 2 jobs or at 8pm. My potato garden was overtaken by Bindweed. It strangles plants and can't just be pulled or the entire plant comes out with it. I have cleared out 6 of the 10 rows, 3 on each day off. Much easier to do when it is dry and I know that I will have to water lots once the (late) high heat begins.

    Day 86-07/04 - 149.2 - Well, obviously no woosh, but not giving up. I got out when I got home from work just after 8pm and finished pulling the bindweed from the last rows of my potato garden. Sadly that also pulled out forming potatoes. I just tucked them in back under the soil. Prepping for the heatwave. Weeds come out easier when the soil is dry, so now I can water almost everything.

    Day 87-07/05 - 147.8 - I will take that as a long awaited woosh. Staying the course, although I plan on having a bit more of an indulgent evening after work on Saturday. 2.2 pounds left to lose in..12 more days. Doable?

    Day 88-07/06 - 147.0 - We are climbing into our summer weather here. I am going to try to get at least some of the grass cut before work later today.

    Day 89-07/07 - 148.4 - Ouch. Late to bed and too early to get up. I gathered a huge salad from the garden before work and ate that when I got home. I got overheated in the garden yesterday I think, so much to be done, but very hot. Calories and exercise were good, I hate when I see a gain like this.

    Day 90-07/08 - 148.6 - So sad about yet another gain. Good calories in, good exercise. Just after my first few sips of coffee I had a big TMI, so all of that salad and stuff should be gone. I feel like when it gets this hot that my body just holds on to water. We have at least 6 more weeks of this in the forecast. I worked in the garden yesterday morning, cutting grass, weeding etc., and got to the lake for the first time this season in the afternoon : - ) I could really get used to this having 2 days off per week! Today is my longest day of the week between the 2 jobs, and then I am off again tomorrow! I should begin to do some stuff indoors since I have my sister flying in from Vancouver on Sunday. Lol, she should be used to it by now, if I get any spare time I always find something to do outdoors instead of organizing my indoors.

    Thoughts:

    Last round I had my normal goal of a 12 pound loss which is approximately 4 lbs per month. That comes to about 90 days leaving the other 10 open for special holidays and social occasions. In theory, it’s a good plan. In practice it is a Mountain to Crawl up. However, each 100 day round I am extremely grateful for any progress I can make, no matter how big or small. I am also grateful for all the support from all of you that I get on a daily basis. Working on my health has become my #1 priority. My main goals are to maintain my remission by staying cancer free and to keep my diabetes in control. Losing weight is key to both goals.



    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    My goal is to be proud of my weight loss.

    Day 01 80.1 kg, I did my planned exercise but I overate a little bit (I'm tracking my intake), since I started tracking I've eaten out 4 times and I need to compensate for those times. I read "most people who lose weight will regain it within 5 years", I checked my old numbers and I'm 3.5 kg under what I weighed 5 years ago. I guess I'm in that category. I talked to my partner about my weight loss (something I'm trying to do less often).
    Day 02 80.0 kg, I ate below my ideal which should help me recover from previous overeating. I did my exercise sessions.
    Day 03 80.1 kg my eating is on track for the last 3 days but I need to recover from the previous 9 which averaged too high. I exercised and that's on track too. Disappointed that the scale is headed in the wrong direction but...
    Day 04 79.4 kg a big loss today. I did a lot of walking, I had sugary food for the first time in 8 days. I overate. Recently there have been 6 days when I overate a lot, I had sugary food 5 times. Coincidence?

    Day 06 80.4 kg I started two personal challenges, I had some sugary food because I won't be having sugary food for a while, so on Tuesday I gained...
    Day 07 80.6 kg my eating and exercise went well, still need to recover from the overeating episodes, maybe in 2-3 days that will happen
    Day 08 80.4 kg I had some treats and food I don't usually have, that's a negative, on the plus side I'm still exercising as I intended
    Day 09 80.3 kg I have a cold so I only managed half my exercise today, that's fine, eating was good.
    Day 10 80.2 kg another day when I ate properly, two days in a row, plus two exercise sessions.

    Day 12 78.7 kg I don't see a 1 kg loss very often, anyway I overate again, although my exercise was as planned
    Day 13 79.3 kg Another good day, exercise and diet were good. I've decided to attempt to lose 10 kg in 100 days - so this will move over to the next round. Starting tomorrow.
    Day 14 79.4 kg I ran the numbers to see whether I could lose 10 kg in 100 days and it seems iffy, however I'm not particularly hungry as I lose weight, so I guess I should just eat less. I overate and did my required amount of exercise. I looked at my intake graph and since day 1 there's been 7 days when I've overeaten.
    Day 15 79.7 kg I ate a bit too much and my exercise was less than required. 10 kg in 100 days: 10.3 kg to lose in 99 days. Can I do it? Probably.

If it's working at the end maybe I'll add an extra 3 days and see if I can do 10 kg in 100 days. Unfortunately my health has not fully recovered so I may need a diagnosis. If that happens I'll stop the challenge. So starting today, I'm aiming to lose weight again. 9.7 kg in 97 days? I probably can do that.

    Day 92-07/09-- 64/2 kg. The scale is def moving in the wrong direction - and I can't blame it all on the uneven bathroom floor! With the weather turning so cold this last week I haven't been out walking much.

    Day 78—06/26—173.8 on plan.

    Day 79—06/27—172.2 on plan until cracker snack attack at 12:30am. Also need to check out the points for almonds.

    Day 80—06/28-- 174 no snacking today. Yard needs attention after a couple of days of rain. House also needs serious decluttering. Booked motels for Aug trip.

    Day 82—06/30-- 175 This is getting super annoying. Not blowing way off plan, no peanut butter sandwiches, cheddar cheese etc etc. My ‘diet’ has way lightened up but the weight stays essentially the same. * sigh * I was on anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxants for my shoulder, perhaps this is causing some fluid retention. Got thru work today without any shoulder issues; worked smarter, not harder.

    Day 86 – 07/04: 173.4 It’s coming down. Feel like I’m tip toeing on thin ice 😉
    30 minute paddle; shoulder was “iffy”.
    1350 cals/ 22 WW pts.

    Day 87 – 07/05: 173.4 Spent much of day prepping veggie dishes for the week. A bit of yardwork. No exercise per se except 20 minutes stretching before bed 1200 cal’s/ 24 WWpts.

    Day 88 – 07/06: 174.4 I hate my scale!! Hope to get a bit of grass mowed then working evening shift. Dang cook made awesome perogies ☹

    Day 89 – 07/07: 174

    Day 90 – 07/08: 174 again. Worked then just vegg’d, surviving the heat.

    Day 91 – 07/09: 174 Plan is to dust off exercise bike etc b/c this shoulder issue is interfering with my paddling, and ankle issue makes walking a bit of a chore. However I do want to get this next 5 off asap.
