The 50’s feel so different. Scale isn’t budging. I’m tired but still making an effort to move every no matter what as part of my self-care. Really want to take off about 20 pounds so that I feel more healthy and clothes fit better. Really unsure how snd a little bit disappointed that I put this weight on to begin with.

Agree it’s harder to lose weight in our 50’s0

One thing I have realized (just 42) is how sedentary I am if I do not take a long walk or exercise. Some days I can literally log only 3000 steps due to my job that keeps me fairly still. My maintenance calories are also really low. About 1650. If I had more muscle mass, I suppose that would go up, but for now I’m just fairly thin. I am no longer cutting but what I need to eat to stay the same size is not as high as I wish! Even being 100 calories a day over can lead to 10 lbs gained in a year.1
