In this thread, isn't EVERY day national coffee day?

Isn't @nossmf very observant (and correct in his assumption)? ☕

Isn’t coffee not nearly as enjoyable without dairy products? What dairy-alternative could I use to not further aggravate my sinus issues?

Is cool whip not whipped cream? Isn’t cream a dairy product?

Have you never read the ingredients in Cool Whip? 🫨
Isn't this from the Ingredient Inspector? https://www.ingredientinspector.org/rapid-reviews/cool-whip-ingredients "The first four ingredients in Cool Whip used to be Water, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Sugar and Vanilla. Now, the first four ingredients are Water, Corn Syrup, High Fructose Corn Syrup and Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. Cool Whip has gone from Far From Homemade to even farther from homemade."

Since I'm a fan of dairy, I'm clearly uninformed as to how satisfying it's alternatives are, but don't a lot of people prefer soy milk, almond milk, oat milk and/or coconut milk?

Have you ever tried making homemade oat milk?

I am barely qualified to make chocolate milk, how could I possibly make oat milk?

Is that a sign of a deprived childhood?

Why would anyone want to make oat milk, when they could make oatmeal cookies instead?
Which makes me wonder, which is better (I know which I prefer): angel food cake (made with lots of egg whites) or pound cake (made with lots of egg yolks)?

Perhaps we should have a taste-off where you send each of us a taste sample of both types, and we can provide empirical analysis?

Deprived childhood...? Did you misunderstand my statement by inferring I rarely had chocolate milk growing up, when I meant to imply I can prepare simple drinks but preparing a bizarre concoction like oat milk may prove beyond my limited skills?

🙋‍♀️ May I vote for angel food cake prior to the taste-off?

While on the topics and beverages enjoyed during our youth, did you know the first time I made Kool-aid as a child I didn’t know I was supposed to add sugar?

Don't I imagine you were as thrilled with the taste of that unsweetened Kool-Aid as I was with the taste of the unsweetened Baker's Chocolate I snuck a piece of as a young, inexperienced (and naughty) child? 😂

Would you like strawberries and whipped cream with that? 😊

Isn't that the only way to eat angel food cake?

As it happens, while on a little trip yesterday, didn't I stop by a bakery and buy an oat scone?
Wasn't that scone the right kind of scone, with both a crunchy and chewy texture, and a satisfying oaten flavour? Didn't I just finish that scone with a little butter and strawberry preserve? 😋
(Shouldn't I have bought a couple of those scones, at least?)
(@cmsienk, aren't I trying to imagine, unsuccessfully, an angel food... oat scone? 🤔😂)

Oh my, wanna know the memory evoked by you just now? Can you imagine this scenario: Mother's Day, secretly making breakfast in bed for mom, six-year-old me prepares Kool-Aid without sugar and pancakes with baking soda instead of baking powder (both rise, but add salty flavor)? Do you know my mother consumed it all with a smile which adult-me now realizes was forced for my child-me benefit?

    Isn't that the sweetest story!?
BTW, does anyone else remember weirdly licking the unsweetened Kool-Aid packets as a kid?:/

Do you think that was the inspiration for whoever created Pixy Stix, Pucker Powder and the other powdered candy?

Now that I’ve been enlightened about the ingredients used to make Cool Whip, isn’t it safe to say that Cool Whip isn’t so far off from being candy itself?

Who invited them? Did they forget how to read and interpret titles? (Also, how did they even find us??)
