America's song would be Tin Man. Not sure about Mellencamp. Maybe Small Town because Dorothy would have been a small town girl.

"Tin Man" is correct. John Mellencamp has an album called "Scarecrow". The songs "Small Town", "Lonely Ol' Night", "R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A." and "Rain on the Scarecrow" come from that album.

Deckerp, you get 1/2 credit. You're up.

Arg. I was looking at a song for America and so I looked for a song from Mellencamp. It seems obvious now.

4-way mashup (see spoiler for definition). I'll provide the 4 artists (in order) and you have to provide the 4 connecting songs.
    Definition:
    Mashup: MA` sh * up: (n)
The would-be song if two artists mashed their titles together
    Example:
Artist: George Gerswin and Elvis =
Song: I can't give you anything but LOVE Me tender
    1. R.E.M.
    2. John Cougar Mellencamp
    3. The Beatles
    4. John Denver

    Everybody HURTS
    HURTS so GOOD
    GOOD day SUNSHINE
