What's your NSV this week?

My body has been big for as long as I can remember. I am scared to have less of this body that has done well by me over the years. I have never known myself as an adult to be under 300lbs. As I approach it I find myself trying to focus less on the scale, and more on other benefits to the changes happening. Yesterday (on my day off) I walked 3 miles without stopping. I didn't look at my step count or anything, I wasn't itching to be done. I think I may start a social media walking club- something where people can virtually join me on walks and see what I see, and they can share what they see.

Anyway- What NSV has you excited this week? Remember- it can be something as simple as you remembered to track your foods for a day, or something huge, like a promotion! Lets celebrate your wins today!

It hasn't even been a full week yet but I have a couple of NSVs

NSV #1: With MFP, I am drinking more water and not always going to the coffee pot or soda to hydrate.
NSV#2: I started making time for exercise again which has also helped me in my "manage stress" goal.
NSV#3: Finally, I have been exercising more frequently and actually logging my walking instead of the defeatist attitude "My body is accustomed to this and it won't help me".

I did 9 pushups in a row, starting from flat on the ground. Doing even one pushup has only been doable in the past when I’m feeling super super fit.

I met with a nutritionist today. Idk if my insurance will cover any other appointments but this first one was "complimentary".

    1. Someone asked me if I was losing weight last week.
    2. My A1C dramatically decreased the last time I it tested.
