I don't want a goal but I want to track calories- just to get perspective. How do I remove the goal?

Apologies, but it's not possible to remove the calorie goal at this time.0

About the best you can do is to set it to something meaningless - maybe something so high you'll never reach it? - then ignore it. Don't use the "close diary" button. It doesn't do anything other than give you weight predictions, which you wouldn't want anyway if you don't have a real calorie goal.
As an old IT gal, I'm a big believer in using apps in whatever way works for us, as long as the software doesn't literally stop us from doing that. Be a rebel. Ignore the calorie goal, get the tracking insights you want.
Best wishes!1 -
You could set your calorie goal to neither lose or gain weight. And then just never look at the totals.1
