Hi...I've been on Mounjaro to control my sugar and losing weight is a side effect. I have trouble getting in my protein (100-150 per day) and looking for suggestions. This medication has made huge strides in controlling my sugar in only a few months--although it's been over a year of taking it.

And in the blogs, looks like it is through the MFP App. You can use the link to the MFP blogs to access a lot of info on a variety of topics.

Don’t overlook protein powder. There’s many different types to try.

Hi! I'm a vegetarian and have been working on getting in my protein. I have been doing a good job so far. I utilize protein powders, Orgain protein drink (30 grams), tofu, eggs, and legumes. For lunch, I just had 1 cup of Oikos vanilla yogurt, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, and one tablespoon of ground flax seed mixed together. Delicious! I got 38 grams of protein and 4 grams of fat from the flaxseed. I'm a Diabetes Specialty RN. Are you able to exercise and lift weights?

If you are interested, you can purchase my book on Amazon. I wish you the best on your journey. ~Jane
