    @SurferGirl1982 I wouldn't pay that any mind. I purposely posted what I posted because of your story about her. I was not rude at all either, so if my post got deleted, she's just an admin nightmare running to them and tattletaling. Let them deal with her...lol.
    @NonnieDoiron I'm sensing some better spirits. Still thinking of you!
    @MissMay Many thanks for keeping this going! It keeps US going!
    @SparkSpringtime69 Let's do this!

    No wine last night. Yay me. I went to bed early and was going to get up and work out. I didn't. I'm sitting here on my computer instead. I'll try again tomorrow since I can't do it tonight because we're going to dinner with my son and DIL before they head back to Arizona tomorrow :cry:

    I stepped on the scale this morning and I'm back down to my pre holiday weight. Also, yay me!

    @MissMay Congrats on 60 days! I bet it feels good. Keep up the good work!

    The issue with that other MFP user is a bit strange. At first, she was complaining that she had joined MFP but she didn't have any friends. So, I tried to reach out to her. I was nothing but polite and trying to be helpful. But, I was attacked.

    I use the website version of MFP and on the homepage it lists recent forum discussions. I saw her thread, so I looked. Someone was very nice and invited her to their challenge thread. She replied back that she saw that this person had sent the same message to five other people and wasn't interested in her "advertisement". And again, she was rude. In one of her own posts (I hope I don't get in trouble for this), but she described herself as "selfish and self-centered". One of our other members that's been around MFP longer than me suggested that she may just be flagging any posts that aren't giving her a pat on the back.

    Anyways, I'm just going to steer clear of her. She seems to want her own thread, when there's so many established ones out there. I guess she does just want to stir the pot. But, I'm done with her. And, eventually, others will see the same thing.

    I'm tired of making promises. But, I hope to be with you guys tomorrow. I will keep you posted!

    Tonight I pulled all the old broken lights off my Christmas wreath and mantle garland and restrung them with new lights. I was very proud of myself for not putting it off any longer. Maybe I will make that bread on Saturday if I can keep this kind of momentum. 😉

    Today, I got a call from a coworker who has been doing what I do for 2 years (I just started in June) asking me for help with some of the most basic stuff. I don’t know how he has been in this position for 2 years and still doesn’t know how to use the company’s administrative portal. Anyway, it looks like I’ll be on his speed dial now because I was able to show him a few tricks to help him out.

    MIL spoke to her pulmonologist today because her oxygen saturation keeps dropping below 90 unless she’s on her oxygen that the doctor didn’t want her using. The doctor told her to stay on the oxygen. But every time she came out of her room, she didn’t have it on (her line is long enough to go to the kitchen… pretty long). She doesn’t follow doctors’ orders well, but it’s not my life. So, I can’t do anything about it.

    Haven’t gone for a walk since Saturday. Really need to get out there. Not just for my health and exercise, but to pick up all the dang trash! I don’t understand why people litter. Do they get a high from it? Is there something wrong with throwing their fast food bags, takeout containers, soda cans, water bottles, beer cans, liquor bottles, used and unused condoms, douche bottles, dirty diapers, over-the-counter HIV test kits, etc in their own trash cans when they get home? (Yes, I’ve picked up all those things… with my trash grabbers, not my hands! 🤢) Why do they have to throw it in our yards? So irritating, but it makes me feel better to pick it up knowing that I’m helping my neighbors (especially the elderly) get the trash out of their yards and trying to be a good steward of what God gave us… too bad I can’t stop judging those who drive by me and wondering if I’m picking up their trash!😡

    About to head to bed shortly. Good night all.

    It is soooo frustrating when our elders don’t follow medical advice, or take care of themselves in general (and hey, I guess that happens at any age). I find it extremely hard to adopt the “not my circus, not my monkeys” attitude, but for self preservation, it’s something we have to do.

    As for the trash, OMG do I feel this! I am on a main road near a stop sign, and for some reason the approach to a stop sign makes people think it’s all right to throw their soda cans and cigarette butts out the window! Gak! Mercifully, I have not had to deal with condoms and used medical tests, and that is arguably worse!

    My weight loss journey is feeling like my golf game…. I get better at putting, and my drives go to hell. Try to improve my short game, and my putting sucks again.

    I concentrate on logging and moderating my food and alcohol intake, and exercise gets blown off for the week. I commit to attending all my exercise classes, wake up late and cancel them all (I’ve done that many times this week). I stay on top of putting away all the things out in the house where they don’t belong, and I stop tracking my budgeting app. It’s like my brain can handle only so much tracking and diligence! Something always falls by the wayside. Anyone else experiencing this?
