Tracy, aack! I accepted your friends request then I saw you had posted not to accept because you had been hacked. So you were deleted and blocked. I will wait abit before accepting any requests in the future.

I have six+ pen pals and family/friends to answer. Some were letters in their Christmas cards. I need to create my stationery which is just lined paper with washi tape and stickers. I usually use 3 pages per letter, and for some crazy reason I never write on the other side.

I have a irl address for you but think it is old and for some reason we are not friends here. I sent a friend request prior to christmas and don't think you got it.

    Can we re-connect?

    Morning all
Im here with Delia who is down for a nap.she cat naps..
Kyle cranky with Tracy because she will work until March and then stay home with the kids..to pay for daycare working full time she would have to pay her whole paycheck just for daycare.so its not worth it..but he is mad that they can't fix the cellar or go on vacation..sheesh..he has to get over things.

I thought Kyle was out of the picture ... he'd moved out and got an apartment???

Is he planning to do that soon?

Rebecca Since I was hacked over a year ago. I always check the profile page of someone who has asked me to friend them. I blocked the person who did the hack. Unfortunately a few here who alerted me to the hack also blocked that person before I did so when they post I have to go to comment section to like what they post if I just hit like my account gets restricted. Despite the issues I still like Facebook because it helps me keep up with friends and family. I am also much more careful in what I like that I know is in the public domain if a friend posts them and I like it I post a like in the comment section. I try to steer away from AI stuff and anyone of the post that asks questions like what is your pets name. Unfortunately there are trolls who gather info on you and can use info to answer security questions on financial accounts you may have.

Reading a book on the vagus nerve and the effect it had on your health and well being... Healing Through the Vagus Nerve. Unfortunately much of our modern life contributes to a low vagus nerve...diet, sleep, stress, trauma, breathing improperly (mouth breathing), poor posture. She goes through ideas to help proactively and when you are reactive. Again it is like getting yourself physically fit if you believe you have low vagus nerve you can do things to make yourself stronger. For me it has been my diet and working on breathing through my nose...Simple things that help are humming , singing, gargling, massage, eye exercises, walking or other exercise. I like how she talked about building a foundation first before getting into more hard core ideas like talk therapy. Learning the skills to self soothe is important to one's mental health.

I found improving my diet and working on mouth breathing has improved my vagus nerve health.

My goal now is to incorporate some of the eye exercises and have my tool bag ready for the times I do get upset.

Eye exercises to help with overuse of computer and close up work

    1. Stop and focus on something in the distance for at least 30 seconds
    2. focus on something close like a finger in the air six inches from your eyes then focus on something in the distance while leaving finger in place.
    3. Stop and try to focus on something in your peripheral vision for 30 seconds
    4. With head still look to your right for 30 seconds then left for 30 seconds.

1,3,4 can be done while waiting on the phone or in line at the store

The point of the exercise is counteract all the tunnel vision of day to day life with the use of computers and cell phones.

The teacher I am working with is studying China..

I found a wonderful Children's book in my collection I am going to give it to the teacher to whom I am volunteering in her room it is called the Emperor's Garden...

A humble village plan a splendid garden and invite the emperor to see it They work together well until they have to name it. Everyone bickers because they want to name it for their contribution. Then a bad storm hits and ruins their garden. The emperor comes and wants to see the garden. The peasants do not want him to see it. He insists. When he comes to the hill on rotting melons (worker wanted to call it Garden of Best Harvest) he says what a pleasant looking hill. When he sat on the bench (worker who built pavilion wanted to call it Garden for Noble Thoughts while the brick layer who created the path to the pavilion wanted to call it Garden of Guided Steps, and the carpenter who built the gate wanted the Garden Through the Carved Gate) the emperor said it was a fine place for thinking. He looked out over the pond (the ditch diggers wanted it called Round Pond Garden and the children who place 500 smooth stones wanted it called Five-Hundred Stone Garden) he told them when I am done thinking I can see fish swimming over the colorful sparkling pond. He noticed the peach tree, ( the person who planted the tree wanted it called the Garden of Long Life because that is what peaches symbolized in China) he said it reminds me of what a long and fruitful life I have had. The peasant presents him with the best peach. While eating his peach he spoke and told them he was upset there was no name for the garden. The villagers asked him to name the garden He named it the Garden of Supreme Harmony...When he left the villagers worked together to clean up their garden. Each year the emperor with his children would stop to see the garden. It was not the biggest, fanciest, or perfect garden but it was a most harmonious garden.

I feel like I’m coughing my lungs out! Nose sore, sinuses sore, ears sore, eyes phlemy, and nothing helps! If not better by Monday, I will go to doctor.

If any of you have a PO Box and have had items delivered to the Post Office by UPS, that will no longer happen. It was called SurePost and the PO did not renew their contract with UPS so all packages delivered to the post office by UPS will be returned to sender. I have been having issues with some orders I had going to 415 N Pennsylvania Ave #8265 being canceled and returned to Amazon. After a couple phone calls, I found out I cannot have them delivered there anymore. They need to be delivered directly to my camper in the park. In the meantime, I have several packages being returned and canceled, including a monthly order from Amazon with vitamins and dog food in it. The least they could have done was tell us!! https://www.supplychaindive.com/news/ups-surepost-usps-contract-changes/736905/ https://www.saleswarp.com/the-end-of-ups-surepost-what-does-this-mean-for-retailers/ And on Facebook on the UPS/Teamsters page.

Our snow is already gone. The temp got up to 45 yesterday and is on its way up again today. It was pretty for a day then gone. I like this kind of snow!

    Thought for today:

I was going to tell a joke about water, but it was too tasteless\
