Heather So glad you are getting the windows taken care of! So scary! Also condolences for your son's loss. Death is hard anytime, but I think worse when it is a young person.

Kittens are healing well but still aren't suppose to be jumping. We removed their tall tree stand when we got them spayed. The problem arise when they started using my dining room chairs as scratching posts! DH brought their stand back out this morning and laid out on its side. The kittens are so confused and enthralled! They did get lots of living when they scratched on it! Yes, they have been jumping up and down furniture, but I couldn't prevent that.

I have some to-dos to get done this morning . DH heading to process our last deer off the season. I need to go to grocery but need to plan a couple of meals first. I need veggies and fruit. Some other paperwork to deal with. I will make this day productive! I want to get a few thank you notes out as well.

I meal planned when my girls were little. I haven't done it in a long time. It gets complicated with work, errands, appointments. Anything that takes more than 30 mins after work doesn't work. We do have breakfast for dinner several nights a week because it is fast and easy. The downside is no leftovers for lunch. I need to choose a couple of meals to have ingredients for so that we have some quick options. I really am bored of spaghetti, breakfast, and sloppy Joe's. This limited processed food thing sucks! I would take suggestions..

So far my GLAD is working. Grateful is easy. Achieved takes a little thought. Learned is the one I struggle with. I think of something I learned when it happens, but forget by bedtime. Will start making note. Delighted in is easy because of kittens, but do try to chose different things.

    Have a great day!
    Hugs to all!
    Stay warm and safe!
Make the best choices you can in the moment!

    Love to all!

Kylia I support your decisions. I agree your numbers are good. My numbers the last time I had my blood work checked were beginning to show problems. My doctor did not make any recommendations. I took responsibility and made the changes to my diet and lifestyle. I am getting new numbers in April. I decided I feel so good that I did not want a physical in December too much going on and you never know about the weather here. I believe it is more important to build your immune system naturally though improving your gut function. Unfortunately many of the modern medicine practices are not so friendly to the gut. So I weigh the pros and cons according to my own health meter. So far this year I have not had to take any prescription or over the counter meds or have added vaccines. This is the best I have felt in a long time.

CORRECTION: 6th trailer, forgot about the Minnie Winnie , that was first, then it was the airstream. This was before retirement

Tina - good to hear from you. Hope the high winds have stopped and your area stays safe. Will be praying for some rain for SoCal!!

Heather ((((HUGS))). Hope Velux can get that broken window taken care of ASAP. What a nightmare - no going barefoot for a while. Sorry to hear about your son's best friend and boss. :(

Kylia - glad to hear your DH's hunt was successful! I bet the meat is really good - the deer probably are cleaning up the cornfields (and other grains) in your area. ;) Love the snow scene with the deer. Are they eating nuts from under the tree where they are gathered? I'd be disgusted too with your doctor. I've learned the doctor's scale adds from 3 to 5 pounds, likely from clothing. Agree it's time to find a new doc who listens and lets the patient have input on meds and vaccines without pushing and cajoling.

Barbie - hope the bitter apple works on Annie's harness. Glad you got her corralled - bet she was excited to go on her short-lived run.

Sue - sorry to hear about that truck door, what a nuisance. Hope you can find an inexpensive repair shop locally that can take care of it. Some of these repair places see a woman drive in and dollar bills fill their heads.

I sent Social Security an email last week about the $35.90 deduction error. For some reason they credited me $30.50 the day after... appreciated, but what about the rest of it? They still owe me $5.40. I get to call them tomorrow, wish me luck. :p

Finished the final episode of Vera. Very nice - I'll sure miss the new seasons every year. Maybe it's time to watch them starting over from season 1.

A bit foggy and chilly. Looks like the cold weather is coming next weekend - lows in lower 20F. Hoping snow doesn't tag along.

Stay warm and safe my friends! <3

Pretty sure I have bronchitis. Doctor tomorrow. I’ve done the zinc, vitamin C, lemon tea and honey, rest and lots of water. Just seem to be getting worse. Oh, well, C’est la vie!

    Thought for today:

Why did the physicist and the biologist break up?

    They had no Chemistry!

    That joke though. 🤣😂

Get a hold of some elderberry and a little extra vitamin c each day. Boost that immune system. I’m a stickler for handwashing and wiping things down. When I asked my school teacher friends how they stay healthy, they say they never touch their face.

    Feel better soon. 🤗

Carol I did not get your message. Please send a friends request first. I think they changed it that in order to message someone you need to be friends first.

    Pip ... beautiful camper!

I second it! We get a lot of Fifth-Wheels here, especially in the winter months, snowbirds and travelers. How does Kirby fair with backing that up and towing? Is it difficult to learn? Do you have a truck to pull it or have it towed? I’m thinking of upgrading mine this year as renting an apartment is starting to look like a problem here. More later on this as it progresses.

No pulling, no learning, no need to buy another vehicle to pul, it, fun
