Okay, folks, here we go: The October Iron Man Challenge is ON!
The goal is to complete the following during the 31 days of October:
* Run/ Walk 26.2 miles
* Bike 112 miles
* Swim 2.4 miles
I'll post a new topic on Saturdays, and everyone can use the thread to track their mileage--either daily or weekly, whatever keeps you motivated!

aw, man... just saw this. I started a similar challenge (triathlon oriented). I'm on on this one too though.
10/2 - spinning, 14 miles
10/3 - spinning, 15 miles0 -

Run/walk: 5 miles (outdoor leisurely walk)
Bike: 10 miles exercise bike
swim : 0
To date:
Run/walk: 20 miles
Bike: 41.4 miles exercise bike
swim : 1 mile
I also tried a leslie sansone indoor walk cd today. i didn't count it as it just doesn't seem to be "walking" in my sense of the word. But i did enjoy it, i think it will be nice for bad weather days i can't get outdoors or to the gym and am too tired for more intense cd's. . i'm going to try it with weights next time.

10/4: another 12 miles on the stationary bike, for a total of 32 miles thus far. The knees and thighs are taking it all just fine, but the butt HURTS!0
