Between now and my birthday in June, I'm in a cut phase, trying to chisel away the fat hiding the muscle I have. After my birthday we'll see how my progress is, whether I have earned the right to switch to a lean bulk.
During this cut phase when energy levels are lower, I'll be happy simply keeping my weights used from dropping down along with my BF level, lol.2 -

I don't do NY resolutions, but do want to resume lifting, and figure out how to do that without aggravating pre-existing musculo-skeletal issues or injuring myself because of current muscle-group imbalances. Usually I lift more in Winter, but last round ended up in physical therapy because of the issues above. Have identified a trainer with rehab credentials whom I'll contact after the peak resolutioner season is over.0

My weightlifting coach is also a qualified S&C coach - one of the reasons I’m still with him after 7 years. He’s rehabbed various injuries (mostly non weightlifting I hasten to add) and he stops me over-exercising. We have the odd disagreement - he finished a coached sess with me early yesterday as I’m getting over a cough and he didn’t think I should be training, and I disagreed. He’s worth his weight in gold and I will keep seeing him regardless of how far I get in my sport. I can see him keeping me active and fit into my old age.I don't do NY resolutions, but do want to resume lifting, and figure out how to do that without aggravating pre-existing musculo-skeletal issues or injuring myself because of current muscle-group imbalances.
