    01/31-191.2-(Trend Weight: 192.4)- Much better than what I’ve been seeing since the 20th. I had one day of travel these past couple of days, but I think I handled it well with no gain the following day. That really helped the cause. Down 1.4 lbs this month. Dreaming of my summer clothes and hoping they will fit still. It’s only a few short months away! I’ll have to look at my stats and see where I stood last summer. Fingers crossed!

    02/01-191.8-(Trend Weight: 192.3)- My scale weight is up a bit after a very late night (2 AM) meal but my trend weight continues to go down. I’m glad it has faith in me as it is aligning with my faith in myself. A small overnight blip that should flush away rather quickly after the high-sodium soup. I have zero intention of chasing my own tail this round! Let’s go!

    I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
    ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
    My husband and I are retired.
    I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

    02/03-194.2-(Trend Weight: 192.5)- What a tremendous jump in just 2 days! 2.4 lbs!!! I know a bit of this is from not taking my Lasix yesterday for my heart condition. However, I also know that I’ve been struggling with the night time snacks. My meals have been good and the food has been clean. But I have been eating too much/many of my β€œapproved” snacks. I’ve tried heavier dinners. I’ve tried later dinners. I’ve tried water tricks and more. Much of it is simply cravings. I’m working on it and hope to get it resolved soon. I’ve got to STOP this gaining in it’s tracks!

    I lost a bit of weight by changing my habits eating at restaurants. I only eat out if I am with others and typically order one entrΓ©e/no sides or soup and salad
    *2025 I will not eat anywhere with a drive thru window!
    *I quit drinking cream/sugar after 2 cups of coffee..most days and cut down on wine/beer and buying cake, cupcakes
    *Also, I have a meal plan with vegetarian meals at least 5 days per week. I have my meals logged in advance every week, usually around 1500 calories per day. (I'm short 5'2). I try to stick to the plan, but not counting calories anymore.

    02/10-195.8-(Trend Weight: 193.7)-What a horrible week it’s been on my never-ending quest for good health. It was an especially hectic day yesterday. I didn’t plan meals properly and they were awkwardly spaced and a bit topsy-turvy. Overboard on snacks again too. Super Bowl / Puppy Bowl mentality. Today is another day, another attempt. Fingers crossed. My birthday is May 10th and I decided this morning that my first mini-goal is to lose a full 10 pounds between now and then. That would put me firmly in the 180’s and on much better footing health-wise. I would still be 30 to 40 pounds away from my ultimate goal, but those numbers sound so much more do-able. Am I reaching for the stars? I dunno, but stretching is good for you, right?

    I lost a bit of weight by changing my habits eating at restaurants. I only eat out if I am with others and typically order one entrΓ©e/no sides or soup and salad
    *2025 I will not eat anywhere with a drive thru window!
    *I quit drinking cream/sugar after 2 cups of coffee..most days and cut down on wine/beer and buying cake, cupcakes
    *Also, I have a meal plan with vegetarian meals at least 5 days per week. I have my meals logged in advance every week, usually around 1500 calories per day. (I'm short 5'2). I try to stick to the plan, but not counting calories anymore.
