MFP is not loading all steps from Android Health Connect

I've got a problem synchronizing my steps.
I have configured MFP to read steps from Google Fit via "Android Health Connect" (Android smartphone), - so Google Fit is saving my activity (steps) to Android Health Connect, and MFP is reading them from there. The problem is that Google Fit is writing my steps all the time, but MFP is not reading them properly.
E.g. I have 10k steps in Google Fit, but MFP shows only 3k steps: I see (in Health Connect data logs!) the Google Fit is writing successfully and writing the steps by chunks of 50-100 steps.
I had 2 long walks today (3k and 7k steps), and looks like MFP is reading only the steps from the 1st walk, but not from the 2nd one.
Sometimes, even I see MFP only loads a few steps - e.g. 15 steps, but Google Fit reports/saves 2k+ steps.
Any idea how to fix this issue?
How to make MFP read all the steps from Android Health Connect/Google Fit?

I have the same problem, I do about 11000 steps a day. MFP syncs just fine with Health connect but once I do more than about 8000 steps it just stops syncing. MFP syncing is just junk!!1

Same happening to me. iPhone’s fitness app shows 9000 steps and Myfitnesspal only syncs 40001

I just posted the same issue with Fitbit to MFP and then no conversion to calories burned. Hopefully this issue gets resolved soon.1

Actually, I'm testing different ways to sync my steps with MFP properly.
So, I have some "draft results":
As I've mentioned above, Google Fit sends steps in small chunks of 50-100 steps to Android Health Connect.
I believe, the size of these chunks - may be the reason of the issue.
When I managed to sync steps from the Zepp App to Android Health Connect, I saw a difference.
Zepp sends steps in bigger chunks: 500, 1000, and even over 1500 steps in a single chunk.
It seems that MFP receives this data more accurately.
I will test the following setup soon:
- The Zepp App gets steps from my Amazfit watch and sends them to Android Health Connect.
- I will take several walks of 1000+ steps in one day and check if all the steps get to MFP.
Will share the results here.0 -
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?0
