I need something or someone or --- to shake me out of this rut. 🤔
At least I'm eating well for now. Not doing much in the exercise department. Maybe warmer weather will get me out and about more.

Hi everyone,
So, as I feared, my weight is up for this week. This morning the scale said, 156.0, which is 3 lbs. UP from my starting weight. I'm sure some of that is bloat, but we'll see what the scale says next Wednesday.
This week I'm going to be diligent about food and activity logging and I will try to get at least 30 minutes' walking in per day. I still believe I can lose 5-6 lbs. over the remaining three weeks of this challenge!
Have a great day, I will check back soon!

Ahhh so close to being at the end of this Countdown to Spring challenge! Already looking forward to the next challenge!
Slowly but surely chipping away at the weight to lose. I’ve been being a bit more flexible compared to the first time I lost weight, and it’s helped me to “jump back” on track so much quicker if I over indulge. Keep on keeping on!5 -
Thank you, @Walela617 !
I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...

I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out since we have our Grandson every morning. He's 2 years old and a pistol!!

02/26-197.8-(Trend Weight: 195.8)- Holy Cow Batman! An overnight gain of a full TWO POUNDS!!! Can you tell I didn’t get in my Lasix meds yesterday after all? It’s so hard to weather these fluid-filled fluctuations! I ended up in a nearby town to order the flowers for my friend’s funeral Saturday. I am traveling today so there will be no Lasix yet again. I may as well skip weighing tomorrow as I don’t need the shock and discouragement and inaccuracy of the fluid-filled weight. I think I will be able to stay home tomorrow though so I will aim to take my medication then. Something just occurred to me for the first time this morning. I am a hard & heavy coffee drinker (black) who has no trouble with my diet during the day when I am home and preparing my own meals. It’s the night time that is my nemesis. I realized this morning that I stop drinking coffee in the evening in order to not affect sleep. That is when the problems with snacks begin. Could it be that the coffee keeps my appetite at bay? Is it the Caffeine? Is it the hand to mouth? I don’t think it’s just the liquid aspect because I begin drinking a lot more water in the evening and at night as a substitute which doesn’t curb those sugary snack cravings like my coffee does during the day. Am I just USED TO the Intermittent Fasting during the day but not in the evening? Is the IF hurting me in some way or making me overeat later in the day? It’s like a switch flips in the evening and everything turns completely around and changes, especially my appetite. Any thoughts on any of this?

Hello everyone,
Dear Donna @deepwoodslady, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved best friend! I wish you strength and comfort over the next difficult days. May her memory be a Blessing. She will always live in your heart.
I really went overboard with both eating AND drinking over the past few days, but all that ends NOW!
I'm still optimistically hoping to at least get below my starting weight of 153 by the first day of Spring, and to hopefully reach a weight in the lower 140's by May.
Have a great Sunday!

03/01-196.4-(Trend Weight: 196.4)- My power was out until 8:00 am this morning so there was no sleep because I had no C-Pap machine. I tried but to no avail. Finally slept from 8:00 am until 11:00 am and I’m not in very good shape for the funeral this afternoon. My oldest DD will be attending with me. It is frigid cold but sunny, bright and beautiful otherwise. My friend Diane would have loved seeing the birds happily flitting around in play this morning. This was a tough round. Coming down on the scale 1.4 lbs overnight helped but I need to get on a losing streak now. I hope to make March a banner month. Please keep my friend Diane and her family in your thoughts and prayers today.
03/05-195.6-(Trend Weight: 196.2)- Yesterday was the best day I’ve had in Forever. Meals have been good but those snacks were so much better than they have been lately. I did try to slow down my eating but kept forgetting. I’ll keep working on that. I need to work harder on exercise and movement. I’m really trying to make a lot of changes that get me back in the game. My weight is being stubborn. It did not change one iota overnight after such a good day yesterday. However, “Good things come to those who wait”. I must remember that. I am down 2.2 lbs in March so there is some progress for which I am very grateful. However, my starting weight was much lower than where I’m at now and that is disappointing. I know I’ve had a lot of challenges this round, but I also know I can do better and I will!
It looks like I managed the spoiler but all my BBC Code colors are showing but in black & white. At some point I will have to remove all of that until it is bland and with no personality. I am in several challenges, all with their own form. It will take me awhile so I apologize for the inconvenience. Also, the ticker is not showing. The HTML for bold is not working but it does have a button to bold.

So much for my objective to lose ten pounds by SPRING {Oops.}
Hi everyone,
I've been having a really "off" week and my lifestyle has gone "off the rails" with eating and drinking alcohol and not moving much at all!
I started over again around 7pm on March 4th, also known as "March Forth"! That's what I plan to do. What's done is done; so back to square ONE!
"Get ready to march forth and conquer your goals on March 4 – also known as March Forth Day! This unique holiday encourages people to take charge of their lives and move forward with determination and courage."
I'm actually a little anxious about stepping on the scale tomorrow morning because I know I'm up. (I just hope I haven't gained to the 160's!) I promise to post the truth, no matter what the scale says. STILL not giving up, though!
I am changing my weigh-in days to Thursdays and will start up "SPRING into SUMMER" challenge soon. It will begin on March 20th and will continue through June 20th (13 weeks, where I hope to lose at least 15 lbs.)
My final weigh-in for this challenge will be Thursday, March 20th, but I will keep checking through the end of March, so everyone has a chance to post.
Have a great day,
💗Carole

Test:
I was trying to see how to get my ticker in. I can't figure out if it can be done.
It looks like we can still wish each other a happy birthday.

Intro:
I am 43 years old, 5'2" with a starting weight of 146 lbs. With being petite, EVERY pound is a battle. I have three little kids - ages 4, 6, and 8 -- and my hubby travels for work. So, cooking healthy meals the kids will actually eat, as well as trying to find time to exercise are struggles for me.Beginning weight: 146 lbs

Weekly Update: Wow, you don't know how glad I am to see the scale down a pound this morning! It's getting harder and harder to 'stick with it', but honestly, knowing that I'm a part of this challenge helps me so much. One day at a time. Maybe, just maybe, I'll meet my original goal?! I haven't seen the 130s in a LONG time! (And please note I'm pretty petite; I weighed around 105 lbs. on my wedding day!)

March 19 (End of Challenge):I am soo sorry I forgot to reply yesterday! But I did weigh in - and was down a bit! Two more weeks left, the month of March is already flying by! February was emotionally overwhelming, so my exercise routines were a bit slacking. Plus it was insanely cold, it was hard to get outside! But its finally thawing, so I'm looking forward to getting a lot more movement in. And getting back in the gardens!! ☺️

Hi everyone,
So, the verdict is IN! (I promised to be honest…) I weighed myself this morning and was 157, FOUR POUNDS higher than my January 1 weight of 153. My best hope at this point is to get back to 153 by Spring and then set my sights on losing ten pounds (or more) by Summer (June 20th). I still think I can do it.
I injured my feet. I have plantar fasciitis in my right heel and some kind of pain on the top of my left foot (NO idea what THAT is)! I will try to walk more but I definitely cannot go fast. After I walk for about 5-10 minutes the pain starts to ease up. I hope it goes away soon!
In the meantime, I plan to be more diligent about keeping a food diary and absolutely NO alcoholic beverages will be consumed! I set my maximum calories per day at 1,450, but if I can go below that to try to speed things up, I will. (My appetite is so HUGE!)
Have a great day, (S*P*R*I*N*G is now only TWO WEEKS away - YAY!)
💖Carole

March 19 (End of Challenge):I’ll just weigh in tom. 🙄 Things at work are crazy and there’s a lot going on in my life. I want to get back on track here. I made this commitment to myself and I’m going to finish this challenge! I know I’ll do better with the next one being outdoors! It’s been a long winter- but spring is just around the corner. “Chin up” as my mom used to say! 😉

Hello everyone,
Happy Weekend! Looking forward to more hours of daylight!
Hi, @rainbow 2300, thanks so much for your post, above! I love your attitude! I hope things ease up a bit for you!
I don't like this new editor. It doesn't look like it's saving drafts anymore and it seems like "@" tags aren't working either! Boo.
From today through March 19th we have 12 days. I will be resetting my fitness pal starting date to Thursday, March 20th. I'm still going to keep a food and activity diary; however , and I will also post my Thursday weights.
Enjoy "springing forward" tomorrow!
💞 Carole

Still working my way back down. A bit of celebrating over the weekend so I need to be more mindful this week of everything I eat.
