    Did you not read earlier in this very thread how the very length of the thread is causing lag when clicking "post reply" which can lead to some responses actually not being incorporated into the thread? Such as the first time I tried posting this exact response, had to eventually click refresh, and my creatively constructed question was now absent? TWICE???

    Forgive me, you did not, but my perception was that multiple people were asking why change is necessary and/or making excuses for how it's "not that bad"...can we have a vote whether we should retire this thread in favor of a new model?

    Aren't I anxiously waiting to find out tomorrow 1) whether this thread is fixed, and 2) whether I will be "happy" with the rich text editor?

    Wouldn't I bet probably not, although might the ability to paste rich text be noticeable to some? Aren't I hoping that helps offset my disappointment over losing the ability to use colored text?

    Didn't you just prove that we can use bold and italics (not to mention strikethrough)?

    But how do I preserve the formatting I do to text pasted from a spreadsheet, without the use of BBcode?
