Michele, with the added chore of walking the dog twice a day, it is easier to hit my goal of 11,000/5 miles every day. If I get to walk with my friend or something extra, it adds up even faster.
Walking the dog also gets me my 20min. minimum 7 days a week instead of just 5. I do double that or more just walking Kobe every day. Well, last night I didn't walk that long- was cold/windy/raining.

@shamac35153 welcome and happy to have you join!

Machka, that commute sounds so very painful. Were there no taxis/Uber/Lyft because of the road closure? Hope the podiatrist has do-able recommendations. Con VERY gratulations on the new job and beautiful aquamarine ring.

    Rebecca “Uff da” indeed!

Kay, trying to train myself to press SHIFT+Enter instead of just Enter. Congrats on the 10K steps, very well done!

Time to shower and scoot to town for recycling, massage and to pick up some free Romaine from Freddie’s.
    Later, lighter, lovelies!

Well today's excursion to the commissary was taxing! I felt really"fragile" and had no energy. Go figure🙃😳🙄. I ended my fast with 19 hours after I came home and literally inhaled my 10 pieces of CA roll sushi. Sipping on a Fresca my energy came back in 5 minutes with a "woosh" effect. I need to listen to my body better. Not having restorative sleep took its toll.

After was celery and bleu cheese dressing, then a piece of hearty grain bread with butter, peanut butter and honey. And a nice cup of coffee. Totally content now. I will keep my eating window open until 4 to see if I wish more.

😀 Lanette thanks i added Good Ship Murder to my list of shows to watch on Brit Box. I watched enough to see that it's exactly the kind of show I like.

😀 Machka, congrats on your job

Did Extreme Cardio and then Yoga Stretch DVD’s today. The plan is to do an incline interval workout tomorrow.

After exercise went to Publix and got shrimp for tomorrow and then went to a board meeting for the condo. After went by the pool then walked to a thrift store but they close at 4 and it was 4 just as I got there. Fortunately, the water came back on at 1:20 so I was able to take a shower to rinse the sunscreen off. Played cards tonight.

I have had my ears pierced since I was about 12 or 13. Then when I turned 40 I thought I’d be cool and got a second piercing. Today I regret it. One of them closed up but the other one didn’t

M – congrats on the new job. You deserve it. What a gorgeous ring

Lisa and Barbie –Vince is always after me to “just try it”. But sometimes you can’t return to what you were doing

Oranges: I saw some blood oranges down here the other day. I’d never had them so I decided to give them a try. They do seem to be easier to peel but I don’t think they’re as sweet as CaraCaras

Rita – congrats on finding a new place

ended up walking with my friend tonight. We haven't walked in months and the last time her husband joined us. We walked for over an hour and a half. It was so great to catch up. We used to walk all the time plus go to class together. Now we never see each other.

Will end up the day with 26,000 steps / 11.75 miles for the day.
Walked the dog twice, the wetlands for an hour plus the hour and a half with Sue.
Hopefully I will sleep good tonight.

Rebecca - my youngest daughter has to wear gold earrings too. I can wear pretty much anything.

Alloe - did you have to go out on your first day home? Hope you’re able to get some rest

Heather - Glad it was just too much salt causing the swelling and not anything serious.

Machka - congratulations on the new position.
    Pretty ring.

Lanette - I’ve read that about women needing hugs too. Rodger is a great hugger. I don’t feel he’s into holding on as long as I need these days.

I had ceramics tonight, I only have two weeks left with the owner I love. I’m going to miss her.

    Hi everyone,

Tracey, what is going on with the owner of ceramics? Are they stopping ceramics?

Debbie, has your son moved into your MIL's house yet?

Carol, how long will it take before you can have the surgery? How much is the surgery?

    Okay, I am leaving again.

    Xo,

MO I plated some tulips a few years ago but only one batch comes up. I also plant the hyacinth I buy this time of year and have had better luck with those. I find I am busy doing other yard work in the fall so it is hard for me to find time to plant bulbs. I am looking forward to start gardening in about a month.

I hope you find ways to get better sleep. Sleep is a cornerstone of health. I know it not easy given your schedule and your job. My son is finally off the grave yard and second shift, and he is seeing the benefit.
