Down 10 pounds in 2 weeks while still eating my favs!

I am maintaining a calorie deficit of 500 calories a day, and it has shrunk my stomach! Can barely finish my smoothies before I'm full; no need for seconds at dinner anymore! I've always struggled with losing weight since I was a teenager, so to me, this feels and looks like really good progress. I feel lighter and more energized, and it's so easy to go for a run without breathing hard. Here's at the beginning and the progress so far. I hope everyone else achieves their goals because it feels amazing!

Great job! I'm also doing around 500 calorie deficit. I was reading about the 4:3 method of IF and started doing that but I found instead of the 80% deficit (which left me exhausted) I went with more calories and doing 5:2 with that. I am down 5 lbs in 1.5 weeks. On my two "off" days I don't go crazy, I still keep about 200 calorie deficit. I'm not having much problem with feeling hungry as I'm eating lots of low cal veggies and lean protein. I feel this is something I can do long term and use in the future.

I used to hate exercising, but I recently found a buddy to go to the gym with, and it's so fun now! You could look into that, but even going for a 20-minute walk could help greatly while you're on a cal. deficit

Thank you! Thats a good plan to keep up with, I know some people on there cheat days go crazy and then wondering why the didnt loose as much as they planned, so still eating good on your off days is smart. I hope it is going good!

@memeq2 Hello, What is a 5:2? And I don't understand what diet your are doing. Can you explain?
@melody_rq Hello, is your diet a 500 calorie deficit plan? And exercising. Any specific diet?
I am trying the Carb Cycling diet. light exercise. Just 1 week in so far. Lost 1.8 pounds. I want it to be more! lol

Yes, it is a 500-calorie deficit plan. I exercise for 20 minutes on average a day, sometimes going for a run. I mostly stick to non-fat foods, so no sweets, dairy, white bread, etc., while enjoying any other foods if I want.
