    I'm going to have another firm 'no' day today. I didn't do it yesterday and I gave in.

    Husband had family issues, mostly unneeded drama, and all I heard was bla bla bla……he made drinks and I had one.

    @mfowler883 ~ my son says he's uses it to help with complexed excel formulas. LOVE IT!

    @Michieb125 ~ Winning for sure!!!

    @NonnieDoiron ~ let me know if it worked for you.

    @SurferGirl1982 ~ Day 1 is the hardest! But the fact that you’re still talking about trying — that says a lot. You're not giving up. As the title of this group says...One day at time. You don’t have to feel 100% that you will conquer. You just need enough hope for one day. And if you don't get through the day, that doesn't erase the fact that you tried. So tomorrow is May 1 — just aim for one day. We are all rooting for you.

    @SparkSpringtime69 ~ I haven't figured out the stress thing either. If it's stress that I've created (ie: when the market was tanking big time, I try to say to myself…if you can't control it, just make the best of it and don't stress. If the stress is coming from others, that's the hard part as I don't want to appear totally rude by tuning them out :)

    @chicbuc ~ Trifecta!! I love it!! And planning for club soda, awesome!

    @globalhiker ~ you are so correct and the best eating plan….is the one that you will do!! :) I've noticed that sometimes I just want hand to mouth…so I've been looking for different (less calories, less alcohol) items. Blueberries work for me…like eating popcorn without the crunch but lots of little things to continue to put in my mouth! :) Go get your glow!

    @globalhiker I am finally replying to your question about French wines. They are not my favorite as we are spoiled here living near Napa Valley. France is really known for its Champagne!
    But I did enjoy several Cote du Rhône tastings with dinner (lighter red), a Sancerre - like a smooth, and full bodied Sav Blanc, and of course bubbles - Veurve Cliquot and a glass at a champagne cave. Oh and a Rose which was lovely. I learned the French eat dinner after 7:00 and always have wine! Gee, I adapted just fine.

    But now home and looking forward to getting back to my wellness routine.

    A saying that has always stuck with me for years: If you fail to plan, you plan to fail!
    Such is the case for my diet, exercise and LA.

    Stagecoach festival was an absolute blast — so much dancing, walking, and good vibes. I ended up drinking 7 days in a row (whoops), so I’m back to AF for a few days to reset. Still recovering, but totally worth it.

    Here’s my final alcohol count for April:
    AF = 22

    A = 8

    On to a fresh start in May!

    @margim5 I'm with SurferGirl! Amazing stats for having a 7 day stint in there! Sounds like a blast!

    LOL; festival was only 3 days, but I was on vacation for 7…pre-drinks and post-drinks were had. I'm in my early 40's, certainly feeling the effects of the long days

    This is so true. I'm having some of both of these, but mostly the "others are causing it" kind. What's funny is that my SO is constantly complaining about things his brother does/says (brother has dementia), and I keep telling SO that it's not his brother causing his stress, it's his reaction to his brother, and he can control how he responds to things. Too bad I can't take my own advise 😬!

    Well, April ended. Thank God! I was so done with it.

    On to May… ugh! Son’s graduation.

    @itladyee I haven’t gotten to use it yet because my boss was demanding the forms, and I had to work on other high priority stuff. So, it’ll probably be something I try once I have some down time and save for the first revision release. For now, they’ll just have to use some janky forms🤣🤣🤣
