Yes, isn't it ridiculous that using @ to "mention" someone (technically called mentions) is so easily broken? Isn't it also ridiculous that you must key a mention manually, as opposed to pasting it? Isn't it also ridiculous that hitting shift+enter to get a single line return instead of a double turns off the function that parses the mention? And then, how do you get it working again?

After much experimentation, didn't I find a fix?

Would you believe, whenever the mention feature stops working, you can re-enable it by typing something like "asdf @ asdf @"?

So to participate in this thread, one must ask questions, take photos if meeting another from here, remind @StraitBuggin when it’s Friday, and limit mention of delicious food and beverages? Do I have that correct? Any other rules that I’m missing?
