    Though my wife loves the sound of surf, am I the only person for whom the rise/fall of the sound level as the waves crash prevents me from truly relaxing? Don't I prefer a steady sound, like a rainstorm or a babbling brook?

    @nossmf , can you please elaborate as to whether you mean you don’t like ocean sounds as white noise when you sleep or if being within hearing distance of the ocean makes you the opposite of relaxed?

    How excited am I that my daughter came this weekend and showed me how to use my quick cold-brew that's been in a back cabinet for 6 months since i bought it because i couldn't figure out how to use it? Can you imagine me drinking iced coffee with 1% milk all summer long?
