It has been a long time and I always loved these threads! Glad to see it's still going. I weigh wearing clothes, so daily weight will be a little all over the place but I'm aiming for trend down!
A little bit about me: I'm 33 years old, female, 160cm (5ft 2.5in) tall. I have a 2yo son who is so full of energy and keeps me eternally busy! I generally keep fit doing judo (although I have injured my knee right now). I have crohns and am currently working with my IBD team to try and get myself into remission (inflammation markers are down, but they are tweaking the medication to hopefully get it even lower).

6/11 - 80.5kg - Difficult day yesterday, found out my fitbit hadn't been doing my heartrate for the last 2 days and so I hadn't got any extra cals for those days, which might explain why my in/out looked so marginal. And then I fixed it with an update, but then it ran out of battery and died, so I also didn't get any extra cals for yesterday either. Made poor breakfast choices (welshcakes, I love -em but they are not a healthy breakfast) but managed to not let it get away from me. Was desperate to eat all the chocolate after dinner, but settled for a single galaxy egg truffle that managed to tame the beast, so I'm counting that as a win. Had been an exhausting day somehow, so I ended up conking out in bed really early.
6/12 - 80.7kg - Woke up with pain in my neck, like I'd pulled a muscle or something (a recurring problem), so took it fairly easy yesterday. Did a yoga stretching routine and managed to roll away most of the pain. Didn't eat overly badly, but did have a glass of wine with lunch which was some pretty empty calories, but I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed that glass of wine. Luckily, even though I was WFH I kept pretty active and so only ended up 12kcals over the target. NSV was putting some of my dinner into a tub because I was full!
6/13 - 80.2 - I mean, I don't deserve that, but I'll take it. Yesterday our office bought pizza for lunch, and I'm a sucker for pizza. I ate a lot of pizza. And then a trip to the pub. On the bright side I did have to hike across town so that added to my steps. And I was driving so I only had one drink, so all in all I still ended up under maintenance for the day. Neck still hurts so that's not great.

6/16 - 80.6 - Weekend catch up - Ooooooh boy. This was not a good weekend. Okay okay, so lets break it down quickly Friday: Wasn't very hungry after lunch at all; stayed under calories, just. Saturday: Went to a BBQ and pretty much grazed all afternoon, I logged as best as I could, but I'm sure I missed a lot out and then my friend has made brownies and blondies and she's such a good baker! Over calories. Likely over maintenance. Sunday: Better, but still not great. My activity was right down as I was feeling pretty fatigued. Eating was fine, I was over target, but below maintenance. Neck still hurts and did some more yoga and stretching yesterday. WFH today so I might walk around to the coffee shop to knuckle down and get some work done (and an excuse to get out of the house). Glad to be back on Monday where I might actually be able to be a little more consistent today, this weekend was out of routine and busy and that makes me worse at keeping myself in check. But I'm back and I'm not going to beat myself up, just got to keep truckin'.

6/15 176.66/16 179.1 My body is wild! My calories havenโt been crazy but my food choices have been poor. I stepped on the scale last night and saw 182.6 so this round marks both the lowest and highest numbers Iโve seen in a long time.
Iโm not panicking. I didnโt erase a month of progress in a few days. Iโm confident I can get back down to this roundโs starting weight in a couple of days.This is a serious reminder to myself. Iโm in my loss phase of the year where I can make progress with the least amount of effort. But no effort isnโt going to fly!
Donโt waste the downhill!

6/10 traveling home today. I may not weigh tomorrowโฆ I need a few days to hydrate & get back to routine. My brain wonโt be able to handle the shock. Denial is best here. Expecting a disappointing #โฆ need the mindset to build momentum & face the challenge!ย
Had time to reflect the past week. 66 is NOT 56. Many thoughts to be distilled to a few basic priorities. ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ๐๐คธ๐ผ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฆ. Excited for next steps. Morning routines = no negotiation. Using June & July to regroup & love on me. Lose 5lbs & gain muscle & mobility. Key relationships have been neglected tooโฆ. Mind. Body. Soul. Whole food as fuel. Readyโฆ setโฆ go!
6/11 under โ 1200 cals, P:E = 1.4. Listened to Huberman podcasts & will change up my daily routine- should improve my sleep when implemented. He is quite technical/ scientific. A big change is coffee 90 min after waking - after morning walk. ๐๏ธโโ๏ธlate morning. Walking 20-30 min after each meal. 80/20 rule for strength & endurance. (Any form of exercise). What Iโm most pleased about is committing to a new nuance to my routine to change it up, to improve sleep & thus quality of life/ decision making (discipline!).ย ย Letโs give it a try!

โ๏ธ06/15-190.4 โ - (Trend Weight: 192.3) I know that I did not eat 11,000 extra calories over and beyond my 1400 allowance to gain 3.5 pounds in 72 hours. Now, I know that I did not burn 14,000 extra calories over the 1400 overnight to lose 4.0 pounds overnight. @quiltingjaine is absolutely right . It does matter WHERE the calories come from. I finally lost some water/sodium bloat apparently from the foods I ate to gain in the days prior. I havenโt had my prescribed water pill in weeks, but it looks like today I wonโt need one either! Back on track with my real weight (I hope) and I am going to try to stay on schedule.

Foodie DD and DGS left last night and I immediately proceeded to finish off all of the off-limit snacks that were left behind. Why, Donna, why? It felt like self-sabotage not hunger. Their snacks are all gone now so I anticipate a good day today. We are expecting very HOT temps today. Iโll be staying inside so there is zero change of restaurant food today. For me, thatโs a very good thing. DGS is doing well since surgery but still in a lot of pain. He is able to get up walking just a bit in the hospital now. Maybe home tomorrow. 6/15 257.4 I've been doing good logging my food, drinking more water, being more active, no alcohol, did have a diet coke today but 1 is better than 3 or 4.

June 10 - 19, 2025

6/10 โ 127.2 This number implies that MAYBE somehow yesterday was real. Ending up doing a โfeedingโ day yesterday. Woke before 6 to hydrate for lab work. Got to the lab at 6:45 expecting a line, only to find out they open at 7:30. But hey, I was first in line, but no coat in the cold for 45 minutes. :P Ran nearby errands before heading home, so was uber hungry. Ate like 2/3 of my daily calories by noon, and did lots on Caramel cold brew M&Mโs in the evening. Felt good to actually not be hungry in the evening. Tracked everything, and was 800+ cal over my deficit target number. Not sure what maintenance my number is, but it is higher than deficit (yes, I can figure that outย :) ), so mathematical principles would say my surplus calories are some number less than 800 cal. Yes, Iโm rambling this morning โฆโฆ.Most labย ย work came in. Was hoping for a little better. Weโll see what comes.
6/11- 128.8 Perfect day until 8 pm, then I went off the wall. Oh well. It is now 7:30 at night when I am finally posting. Today, so far, day was โgood enoughโ. Hopefully the scale in the morning will show I have not done a full 1.8 lb damage I saw on the scale this morning.
6/12 โ 129.8 Three days in a row. Posted at 7:30 last night, all was fine, then I did another bad evening. Gotta sort this out. I really did not want to step on the scale this morning because I knew what was coming, but avoiding the scale is the start of a snowball for me. Today will be good. Period. Call me out tomorrow if I report differently!!!

Later in the evening, I was proud of myself for choosing a healthy treat of skinnygirl popcorn. Ate that, was great, still under on calories, and still not hungry, then I started again. Four nights in a row. Argh.
6/14 โ 128.8 Yesterday was โbetterโ but still not what it should be. Let see how much I can fix by the end of the round. Today is out for lunch with a friend, but it is seasons 52 which is thoughtful and informative on its calories. So theoretically I should be able to do an on target day. Tomorrow, fatherโs day, will be more challenging.
6/15 โ 127.2 Not sure how this is possible. My hope for today was to get back down to 128.0ish as I figured my caloric overages for those 4 days likely added up to around 3200 kcal. Yes, my calories were good yesterday, but I have no idea how I am back this low. I need to be grateful and not sabotage it again. Today is going to be tricky due to attending a mid-day fatherโs day cookout at DDโs house. Iโll have to keep my โone plateโ rule for the main meal, and be cautious with everything else.

6/11 under โ 1200 cals, P:E = 1.4. Listened to Huberman podcasts & will change up my daily routine- should improve my sleep when implemented. He is quite technical/ scientific. A big change is coffee 90 min after waking - after morning walk. ๐๏ธโโ๏ธlate morning. Walking 20-30 min after each meal. 80/20 rule for strength & endurance. (Any form of exercise). What Iโm most pleased about is committing to a new nuance to my routine to change it up, to improve sleep & thus quality of life/ decision making (discipline!).ย ย Letโs give it a try!

It has been a long time and I always loved these threads! Glad to see it's still going. I weigh wearing clothes, so daily weight will be a little all over the place but I'm aiming for trend down!
A little bit about me: I'm 33 years old, female, 160cm (5ft 2.5in) tall. I have a 2yo son who is so full of energy and keeps me eternally busy! I generally keep fit doing judo (although I have injured my knee right now). I have crohns and am currently working with my IBD team to try and get myself into remission (inflammation markers are down, but they are tweaking the medication to hopefully get it even lower).

6/11 - 80.5kg - Difficult day yesterday, found out my fitbit hadn't been doing my heartrate for the last 2 days and so I hadn't got any extra cals for those days, which might explain why my in/out looked so marginal. And then I fixed it with an update, but then it ran out of battery and died, so I also didn't get any extra cals for yesterday either. Made poor breakfast choices (welshcakes, I love -em but they are not a healthy breakfast) but managed to not let it get away from me. Was desperate to eat all the chocolate after dinner, but settled for a single galaxy egg truffle that managed to tame the beast, so I'm counting that as a win. Had been an exhausting day somehow, so I ended up conking out in bed really early.
6/12 - 80.7kg - Woke up with pain in my neck, like I'd pulled a muscle or something (a recurring problem), so took it fairly easy yesterday. Did a yoga stretching routine and managed to roll away most of the pain. Didn't eat overly badly, but did have a glass of wine with lunch which was some pretty empty calories, but I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed that glass of wine. Luckily, even though I was WFH I kept pretty active and so only ended up 12kcals over the target. NSV was putting some of my dinner into a tub because I was full!
6/13 - 80.2 - I mean, I don't deserve that, but I'll take it. Yesterday our office bought pizza for lunch, and I'm a sucker for pizza. I ate a lot of pizza. And then a trip to the pub. On the bright side I did have to hike across town so that added to my steps. And I was driving so I only had one drink, so all in all I still ended up under maintenance for the day. Neck still hurts so that's not great.

6/16 - 80.6 - Weekend catch up - Ooooooh boy. This was not a good weekend. Okay okay, so lets break it down quickly Friday: Wasn't very hungry after lunch at all; stayed under calories, just. Saturday: Went to a BBQ and pretty much grazed all afternoon, I logged as best as I could, but I'm sure I missed a lot out and then my friend has made brownies and blondies and she's such a good baker! Over calories. Likely over maintenance. Sunday: Better, but still not great. My activity was right down as I was feeling pretty fatigued. Eating was fine, I was over target, but below maintenance. Neck still hurts and did some more yoga and stretching yesterday. WFH today so I might walk around to the coffee shop to knuckle down and get some work done (and an excuse to get out of the house). Glad to be back on Monday where I might actually be able to be a little more consistent today, this weekend was out of routine and busy and that makes me worse at keeping myself in check. But I'm back and I'm not going to beat myself up, just got to keep truckin'.
6/17 - DNW - Ooop, just completely forgot to weigh this morning. Anyway, yesterday, I was really hungry all day, went out to the coffee shop and also had some cake and it was totally worth it as I got loads of work done during that couple of hours. Built up a bunch of extra exercise calories yesterday so I actually ended up under calories for the day.

6/17 - 167.0 - I'm glad to see this drop. The scale flashed down to 166.x a few times but settled here. That's okay. I got terribly distracted yesterday afternoon and didn't manage to get my 100oz water. I was about 20oz shy, actually. Today I will do better! Meals are planned and logged for the day and feeling good about it overall. I need to start looking at meals for next week so I'm not trying to figure it out last minute. Yesterday after dinner BF took down all his awards and degrees from my office walls since him and LittleBro finished converting LittleBro's old room into the game room/office and was able to hang it all in there. I ended up finally reorganizing and shifting my office to open up a tooooon of space by pushing the desk to the wall and now I can hang my stuff in here once I get screws and the tools from the shop to do so (maybe after work today?). I can now use my walking pad without bumping into everything as I walk and have space to get up and stretch throughout the day. I also can access my greenery (plants) and I feel much more flow to the room. It has made me feel so much better being in here and working in here which will then expand throughout other areas of my life, I'm sure. Especially since I spend between 36-44 hours in here a week every week!

Their snacks are all gone now so I anticipate a good day today. We are expecting very HOT temps today. Iโll be staying inside so there is zero change of restaurant food today. For me, thatโs a very good thing. DGS is doing well since surgery but still in a lot of pain. He is able to get up walking just a bit in the hospital now. Maybe home tomorrow. 6/10 โ 127.2 This number implies that MAYBE somehow yesterday was real. Ending up doing a โfeedingโ day yesterday. Woke before 6 to hydrate for lab work. Got to the lab at 6:45 expecting a line, only to find out they open at 7:30. But hey, I was first in line, but no coat in the cold for 45 minutes. :P Ran nearby errands before heading home, so was uber hungry. Ate like 2/3 of my daily calories by noon, and did lots on Caramel cold brew M&Mโs in the evening. Felt good to actually not be hungry in the evening. Tracked everything, and was 800+ cal over my deficit target number. Not sure what maintenance my number is, but it is higher than deficit (yes, I can figure that outย :) ), so mathematical principles would say my surplus calories are some number less than 800 cal. Yes, Iโm rambling this morning โฆโฆ.Most labย ย work came in. Was hoping for a little better. Weโll see what comes.
6/11- 128.8 Perfect day until 8 pm, then I went off the wall. Oh well. It is now 7:30 at night when I am finally posting. Today, so far, day was โgood enoughโ. Hopefully the scale in the morning will show I have not done a full 1.8 lb damage I saw on the scale this morning.
6/12 โ 129.8 Three days in a row. Posted at 7:30 last night, all was fine, then I did another bad evening. Gotta sort this out. I really did not want to step on the scale this morning because I knew what was coming, but avoiding the scale is the start of a snowball for me. Today will be good. Period. Call me out tomorrow if I report differently!!!
6/13 โ 130.0 I was solidly under calories by evening (an absolute *kitten* show of a day), and amazingly was not hungry. Later in the evening, I was proud of myself for choosing a healthy treat of skinnygirl popcorn. Ate that, was great, still under on calories, and still not hungry, then I started again. Four nights in a row. Argh.
6/14 โ 128.8 Yesterday was โbetterโ but still not what it should be. Let see how much I can fix by the end of the round. Today is out for lunch with a friend, but it is seasons 52 which is thoughtful and informative on its calories. So theoretically I should be able to do an on target day. Tomorrow, fatherโs day, will be more challenging.
6/15 โ 127.2 Not sure how this is possible. My hope for today was to get back down to 128.0ish as I figured my caloric overages for those 4 days likely added up to around 3200 kcal. Yes, my calories were good yesterday, but I have no idea how I am back this low. I need to be grateful and not sabotage it again. Today is going to be tricky due to attending a mid-day fatherโs day cookout at DDโs house. Iโll have to keep my โone plateโ rule for the main meal, and be cautious with everything else.
6/16 โ 129.6 Ouch. Channeled Britney Spears last night (Oops I did it again). It is now 8:01 PM and posting late. Can I not mess up this evening?

It has been a long time and I always loved these threads! Glad to see it's still going. I weigh wearing clothes, so daily weight will be a little all over the place but I'm aiming for trend down!
A little bit about me: I'm 33 years old, female, 160cm (5ft 2.5in) tall. I have a 2yo son who is so full of energy and keeps me eternally busy! I generally keep fit doing judo (although I have injured my knee right now). I have crohns and am currently working with my IBD team to try and get myself into remission (inflammation markers are down, but they are tweaking the medication to hopefully get it even lower).

6/11 - 80.5kg - Difficult day yesterday, found out my fitbit hadn't been doing my heartrate for the last 2 days and so I hadn't got any extra cals for those days, which might explain why my in/out looked so marginal. And then I fixed it with an update, but then it ran out of battery and died, so I also didn't get any extra cals for yesterday either. Made poor breakfast choices (welshcakes, I love -em but they are not a healthy breakfast) but managed to not let it get away from me. Was desperate to eat all the chocolate after dinner, but settled for a single galaxy egg truffle that managed to tame the beast, so I'm counting that as a win. Had been an exhausting day somehow, so I ended up conking out in bed really early.
6/12 - 80.7kg - Woke up with pain in my neck, like I'd pulled a muscle or something (a recurring problem), so took it fairly easy yesterday. Did a yoga stretching routine and managed to roll away most of the pain. Didn't eat overly badly, but did have a glass of wine with lunch which was some pretty empty calories, but I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed that glass of wine. Luckily, even though I was WFH I kept pretty active and so only ended up 12kcals over the target. NSV was putting some of my dinner into a tub because I was full!
6/13 - 80.2 - I mean, I don't deserve that, but I'll take it. Yesterday our office bought pizza for lunch, and I'm a sucker for pizza. I ate a lot of pizza. And then a trip to the pub. On the bright side I did have to hike across town so that added to my steps. And I was driving so I only had one drink, so all in all I still ended up under maintenance for the day. Neck still hurts so that's not great.

6/16 - 80.6 - Weekend catch up - Ooooooh boy. This was not a good weekend. Okay okay, so lets break it down quickly Friday: Wasn't very hungry after lunch at all; stayed under calories, just. Saturday: Went to a BBQ and pretty much grazed all afternoon, I logged as best as I could, but I'm sure I missed a lot out and then my friend has made brownies and blondies and she's such a good baker! Over calories. Likely over maintenance. Sunday: Better, but still not great. My activity was right down as I was feeling pretty fatigued. Eating was fine, I was over target, but below maintenance. Neck still hurts and did some more yoga and stretching yesterday. WFH today so I might walk around to the coffee shop to knuckle down and get some work done (and an excuse to get out of the house). Glad to be back on Monday where I might actually be able to be a little more consistent today, this weekend was out of routine and busy and that makes me worse at keeping myself in check. But I'm back and I'm not going to beat myself up, just got to keep truckin'.
6/17 - DNW - Ooop, just completely forgot to weigh this morning. Anyway, yesterday, I was really hungry all day, went out to the coffee shop and also had some cake and it was totally worth it as I got loads of work done during that couple of hours. Built up a bunch of extra exercise calories yesterday so I actually ended up under calories for the day.
6/18 - 80.1 - We're going away next round, so I've been working pretty hard try and catch up on work before we leave so my parents came over to see DS before we go and cooked dinner which mean dinner was very much an estimate (especially the lemon meringue pie they decided to bring).The day was generally good though, my parents do love a cake, but their portion sizes are generally smaller than what I normally cook, so it's swings and roundabouts.
