    6/10 traveling home today. I may not weigh tomorrow… I need a few days to hydrate & get back to routine. My brain won’t be able to handle the shock. Denial is best here. Expecting a disappointing #… need the mindset to build momentum & face the challenge! 

    Had time to reflect the past week. 66 is NOT 56. Many thoughts to be distilled to a few basic priorities. 🚶‍♀️🏋️‍♂️💓🤸🏼🙆‍♀️💦. Excited for next steps. Morning routines = no negotiation. Using June & July to regroup & love on me. Lose 5lbs & gain muscle & mobility. Key relationships have been neglected too…. Mind. Body. Soul. Whole food as fuel. Ready… set… go!

    6/11 under ✅ 1200 cals, P:E = 1.4. Listened to Huberman podcasts & will change up my daily routine- should improve my sleep when implemented. He is quite technical/ scientific. A big change is coffee 90 min after waking - after morning walk. 🏋️‍♂️late morning. Walking 20-30 min after each meal. 80/20 rule for strength & endurance. (Any form of exercise). What I’m most pleased about is committing to a new nuance to my routine to change it up, to improve sleep & thus quality of life/ decision making (discipline!).  Let’s give it a try!

    6/12 ⚖️ 132.8lbs.  I can live with that- I guess. Push forward! cals <1200. PE= 1:1; 🥩120g. Really solid day yesterday! Thinking more bloat will drop today. 6/13 🚶‍♀️8k, good fuel. P:E 1.5. Solid day. Rain hindered walk. Worked around the house restoring order and calm (after trip, property sale & city hall). More today. 💪🏻. I have a challenge that when I wake before the sun comes up coffee is a non-negotiable … slept only 5.5 hrs last night - after a week of averaging 7.5 hrs. Sleep is key! As soon as the sun comes up, I’m ready to charge forward. 💦has been excellent! Today’s focus: 🚶‍♀️🏋️‍♂️⏱️

    ‼️3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣‼️Thinking about my personal JGMTD#300 mini-challenge w/i the challenge!  Honoring all the folks who have made this group worthwhile… A meaningful out-of-the-box commitment? Some kind of a PUSH! I want that…. Ready for ideas!

    6/14 Fluctuations-impact from trip? Still carrying foreign foods… ? Let’s keep momentum! 

    6/15 Went to an estate sale early and came home and felt off… Dizzy… Felt like my vertigo was returning, but never fully did so - took it easy all day. 1500 cals, ✅🥩P:E 1:1 Hoping for a better day!

    Thinking of (1) 300 jumps (jump rope) (NEW) & 70 min or more of 💓Z2  for all 10 days (I usually get 60+ min most days but will shoot for ALL) AND…. Crush it 💪🏻in the kitchen! A big personal push for me! Prepping for the BHAG.

    6/16 We ate late last night & only slept 5 hrs. Looks like vacation ⚖️ gain is REAL! Will focus on hydration today. Baby Eleanor will arrive Thursday.  DGS Tucker will spend the night with us Wed & Thurs!

    6/17 three more days to get it to 132.x. Staying on plan… But low on protein and a few extra carbs( yogurt & berries). Good 💦& 🏋️‍♂️. Fell asleep on the couch midday … 5 hour nights make it tough during the day (lethargy, discipline & attitude). NSV: Recognition of the pattern w/o beating up on myself. Took an extra walk after dinner to hit 🚶‍♀️10k.  Thankfully, I slept much better last night. Today: 🎾 and more. My trending weight is up 2.7lbs from six months ago… Time to buckle down & stop the roller coaster!🎢 wykyk. 

    6/18 ngl disappointed in ⚖️. Doing all the right stuff. I should know better than to be disappointed. Keep it up!  Slept 7 hrs. Better! Macros on target- cals 1350.

    6/18-138-I’ll take that after being so conscious of what I ate all day, then DH needed to pick up MIL from appointment at 6:30 and she wanted to go to dinner. DH explained that I did not HAVE to eat the tortilla and extra stuff, so we “split” fajitas for two and I was very careful. Whew! Today, I go to Quilts of Honor to make quilts for veterans. The gals hosting it provide a wonderful, but often carby lunch so I’ll bring a protein drink and eat lightly.

    Oh! @_JeffreyD_ ! Lucky you getting to catch all of those fish on your trip! That sounds like a slice of heaven!!!!!

    6/18 - 166.6 - Glad to be back down to my low weight again! Even better since I'm anticipating TOM to start any day now so normally I'd be bloated/retaining water at this point. Maybe I'll even see more of a drop after? A girl can hope. Today is BF's birthday and I just finished making him his favorite strawberry cheesecake. I didn't log any for myself since one slice essentially wipes me clean of my fat portion for the day. I can't promise I won't indulge in a tiny tiny slice, though. I'll be mindful about portions if I do allow myself a piece. If I don't, I'm within calories but a tad over on carbs since dinner is a bit higher carbs and I tried to balance that out by meeting my fiber goal which also counts as carbs. I'm within 50 calories of my goal, though, so I'm not too upset about that since it's to ensure I'm getting fiber.

    6/19. No TMI 3 days. Hmmmm… DGS spent night. Played Risk. Still playing Risk! Baby Eleanor to be born today - probably before noon. 

    Yes, the scale is seriously disappointing me… I simply can’t eat any less. Sleep 5hrs… Looking forward to next round to learn what’s happening with my body but for now I’m not thinking about it….. good hydration & protein yesterday -another 1350 cals. Ready for JGMTD#300#70!

    June 10 - 19, 2025

    SW: 127.0

    6/10 – 127.2 This number implies that MAYBE somehow yesterday was real. Ending up doing a “feeding” day yesterday. Woke before 6 to hydrate for lab work. Got to the lab at 6:45 expecting a line, only to find out they open at 7:30. But hey, I was first in line, but no coat in the cold for 45 minutes. :P Ran nearby errands before heading home, so was uber hungry. Ate like 2/3 of my daily calories by noon, and did lots on Caramel cold brew M&M’s in the evening. Felt good to actually not be hungry in the evening. Tracked everything, and was 800+ cal over my deficit target number. Not sure what maintenance my number is, but it is higher than deficit (yes, I can figure that out :) ), so mathematical principles would say my surplus calories are some number less than 800 cal. Yes, I’m rambling this morning …….

    Most lab  work came in. Was hoping for a little better. We’ll see what comes.

    6/11- 128.8 Perfect day until 8 pm, then I went off the wall. Oh well. It is now 7:30 at night when I am finally posting. Today, so far, day was “good enough”. Hopefully the scale in the morning will show I have not done a full 1.8 lb damage I saw on the scale this morning.

    6/12 – 129.8 Three days in a row. Posted at 7:30 last night, all was fine, then I did another bad evening. Gotta sort this out. I really did not want to step on the scale this morning because I knew what was coming, but avoiding the scale is the start of a snowball for me. Today will be good. Period. Call me out tomorrow if I report differently!!!

    6/13 – 130.0 I was solidly under calories by evening (an absolute *kitten* show of a day), and amazingly was not hungry. Later in the evening, I was proud of myself for choosing a healthy treat of skinnygirl popcorn. Ate that, was great, still under on calories, and still not hungry, then I started again. Four nights in a row. Argh.

    6/14 – 128.8 Yesterday was “better” but still not what it should be. Let see how much I can fix by the end of the round. Today is out for lunch with a friend, but it is seasons 52 which is thoughtful and informative on its calories. So theoretically I should be able to do an on target day. Tomorrow, father’s day, will be more challenging.

    6/15 – 127.2 Not sure how this is possible. My hope for today was to get back down to 128.0ish as I figured my caloric overages for those 4 days likely added up to around 3200 kcal. Yes, my calories were good yesterday, but I have no idea how I am back this low. I need to be grateful and not sabotage it again. Today is going to be tricky due to attending a mid-day father’s day cookout at DD’s house. I’ll have to keep my “one plate” rule for the main meal, and be cautious with everything else.

    6/16 – 129.6 Ouch. Channeled Britney Spears last night (Oops I did it again). It is now 8:01 PM and posting late. Can I not mess up this evening?

    6/17 – 129.4 Not sure what to add. But I am reporting in. :)

    6/18 – 128.2 Calories were healthfully under target. No exercise.

    6/19 – 127.6 Still no exercise, but spot on for calories.

    End of Round 299 count down: 87 days until the wedding! I think I have my dress!

    It has been a long time and I always loved these threads! Glad to see it's still going. I weigh wearing clothes, so daily weight will be a little all over the place but I'm aiming for trend down!

    A little bit about me: I'm 33 years old, female, 160cm (5ft 2.5in) tall. I have a 2yo son who is so full of energy and keeps me eternally busy! I generally keep fit doing judo (although I have injured my knee right now). I have crohns and am currently working with my IBD team to try and get myself into remission (inflammation markers are down, but they are tweaking the medication to hopefully get it even lower).

    SW: 81.2kg GW: 70kg UGW: 62kg

    6/10 - DNW
    6/11 - 80.5kg - Difficult day yesterday, found out my fitbit hadn't been doing my heartrate for the last 2 days and so I hadn't got any extra cals for those days, which might explain why my in/out looked so marginal. And then I fixed it with an update, but then it ran out of battery and died, so I also didn't get any extra cals for yesterday either. Made poor breakfast choices (welshcakes, I love -em but they are not a healthy breakfast) but managed to not let it get away from me. Was desperate to eat all the chocolate after dinner, but settled for a single galaxy egg truffle that managed to tame the beast, so I'm counting that as a win. Had been an exhausting day somehow, so I ended up conking out in bed really early.
    6/12 - 80.7kg - Woke up with pain in my neck, like I'd pulled a muscle or something (a recurring problem), so took it fairly easy yesterday. Did a yoga stretching routine and managed to roll away most of the pain. Didn't eat overly badly, but did have a glass of wine with lunch which was some pretty empty calories, but I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed that glass of wine. Luckily, even though I was WFH I kept pretty active and so only ended up 12kcals over the target. NSV was putting some of my dinner into a tub because I was full!
    6/13 - 80.2 - I mean, I don't deserve that, but I'll take it. Yesterday our office bought pizza for lunch, and I'm a sucker for pizza. I ate a lot of pizza. And then a trip to the pub. On the bright side I did have to hike across town so that added to my steps. And I was driving so I only had one drink, so all in all I still ended up under maintenance for the day. Neck still hurts so that's not great.

    6/16 - 80.6 - Weekend catch up - Ooooooh boy. This was not a good weekend. Okay okay, so lets break it down quickly Friday: Wasn't very hungry after lunch at all; stayed under calories, just. Saturday: Went to a BBQ and pretty much grazed all afternoon, I logged as best as I could, but I'm sure I missed a lot out and then my friend has made brownies and blondies and she's such a good baker! Over calories. Likely over maintenance. Sunday: Better, but still not great. My activity was right down as I was feeling pretty fatigued. Eating was fine, I was over target, but below maintenance. Neck still hurts and did some more yoga and stretching yesterday. WFH today so I might walk around to the coffee shop to knuckle down and get some work done (and an excuse to get out of the house). Glad to be back on Monday where I might actually be able to be a little more consistent today, this weekend was out of routine and busy and that makes me worse at keeping myself in check. But I'm back and I'm not going to beat myself up, just got to keep truckin'.
    6/17 - DNW - Ooop, just completely forgot to weigh this morning. Anyway, yesterday, I was really hungry all day, went out to the coffee shop and also had some cake and it was totally worth it as I got loads of work done during that couple of hours. Built up a bunch of extra exercise calories yesterday so I actually ended up under calories for the day.
    6/18 - 80.1 - We're going away next round, so I've been working pretty hard try and catch up on work before we leave so my parents came over to see DS before we go and cooked dinner which mean dinner was very much an estimate (especially the lemon meringue pie they decided to bring).The day was generally good though, my parents do love a cake, but their portion sizes are generally smaller than what I normally cook, so it's swings and roundabouts.
    6/19 - 80.4 - Nearly missed weighing this morning and quick weighed before running out the door this morning. Eating was good yesterday, especially as we had fish which I always find fills me up loads for the number of calories it has. Also did my standard shoulder and neck yoga session, but was feeling pretty good so then did another 10/15 minutes of yoga afterwards so feeling pretty good in that regard.

    Trend stayed the same, but I'm not overly surprised as I had a few days were I was barely maintaining this round. Positives is that I didn't put on weight on those. And as I weigh with clothes so my day to day weight is very much affected by what I'm wearing so I'm not letting it bother me overly. At the start of the round my trend had only just ticked down to 80.4 and yesterday it was 80.3 but then ticked back up this morning, so I deffo think it's on a downward trend. Next round I'm actually travelling for, so I'm not sure if I'm going to have access to scales. If I do I might keep weighing daily, I might not, I will try and check in on here as much as possible and doing a roundup of my day I find really helpful.

    6/12  132.5 Going to the gym today then out to Great Greek with neighbor and her visiting daughter.

    6/13  132.0  We seem to be in a never ending “extreme heat warning” - today is only supposed to be 107.

    6/14  131.5 It was a great day. DH painted the rocking chairs our DDs gave us for Mother’s/Father’s Day in 2005 shortly after we moved into the house we had built.

    SW 202. (Heaviest 235+?, Want to weigh 140) 😊

    My goal is to eat mostly made from scratch and avoid sugar and white flour.

    6/14. 204 what the heck? To be honest I have never weighed daily. Yesterday we had to go to town twice and I was not able to drink my water like normal. Today I’m back on that.

    6/16 200 yesterday I did cheat. Had a piece of apple pie for Fathers Day. And slightly went over calories. It seems that water is key to my weight loss.

    6/19. 202 this is after being dressed, drinking and eating. Will have to check first thing in morning to know for sure. But kinda upset. I am counting calories 1260 day. I am being good with my choices. I am drinking my water. I am going to win!!!
