Pilates video and another good day over all with protein! Itโs DHโs birthday so likely dinner out tonight, and dinner plans with friends tomorrow. Looking to keep the momentum through the weekend! Happy Friday everyone!

@deepwoodslady I am a sucker for snacking too. I find if snacks are in the house, not only will I eat themโฆIโm drawn to them! What worked for me was to just remove them from the house, unless they were healthy. I also found that I snacked more when Iโm bored. When I start to feel an urge to snack come on, I get up, walk around the house/yard, take a walk, or do some cleaning/straightening up around the house. Eventually the urge to snack goes away.

@jessnocket my heart is going out to you and your daughter right now. Cancer just isnโt fair and no one should have to experience it. I lost my dad 5years ago to cancer and Iโve never felt so helpless. I agree with Melanie that the stress will definitely play a part in all this. I will be keeping you and your daughter in my prayers. ๐งก

Well I made a commitment this month to weigh myself first thing every morning. So I thought I would join this group. It will enforce accountability. My goal is simple. Just weigh myself to capture both positive and negative triggers.

Thank You. Today is the 1 year anniversary of her diagnosis. I'm definitely feeling the mental toll this week.
I am proud of myself for keeping up with the exercise routines all week. I did gain a few more ounces again today, but it'll probably start coming off in the next few days.

Iโm especially weak this weekend and I need to find my inner strength and resolve. I donโt like seeing that I am gaining back everything I struggled to lose last month. That is just math that doesnโt make sense, but is accurate. Lots of time left in July, Donna, to put a nice size dent in it. Come on, get with the program! I can do this!

July 13- 163.2 went to a wedding yesterday. No cupcakes, ate almost all protein BUT I drank a beer and 2 hard iced teas (SUGAR) and this is how I knew the scale would react. If I want to succeed I have got to remove alcohol.

๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ 07/13-192.1 โ - (Trend Weight: 191.1) Horrified! But my daughter doesnโt shove it in my mouth, I do! I prep cooked at 10:00 last night to give myself two very nice diet approved meals. One for tonight and one for the next day, most likely. It should help me get back on track. I just need to get through today and right now, Iโm feeling disgusted enough to be strong. Hopefully it will stay that way. Iโve still got time to turn this thing back around somewhat before the end of the July challenge. Itโs time to take a good look at myself in the mirror, as Michael would say. Itโs time for me to change my ways.

Well I made a commitment this month to weigh myself first thing every morning. So I thought I would join this group. It will enforce accountability. My goal is simple. Just weigh myself to capture both positive and negative triggers.

7/8- 193 lbs Had a light bulb moment. If you don't weigh yourself every day you are missing the moments when you have lost weight.
