looked back. Actually I’ve been on FP since Oct 2011! Didn't realize had been that long. When i dame someone else will as doing the challenge for at least a year. They were leaving & ask me to do it. There was almost a year I was here all alone BUT I carried on for me! It helped me loose 50 pounds & kept me motivated to move. People came & people left. I’m HAPPY to see you’ve stayed! HUGS

Welcome to Monday. I should be able to start riding more this week. I had a great week of golf and I got a hard ride in on Saturday. My VO2Max also increased so my health is getting better!

trying to switch to high protein (40 gram) breakfast to help build muscle. Completed a 50 minute Body Combat class this morning!

@200Karen I noticed I do have to be careful how much I eat while adding protein. Easy to overeat, that's why tracking foods is so important. They say I should be eating 120 grams or more of protein at my age, but that comes with a LOT of food, even with protein powders used. So, unless I work out a LOT to burn the calories, I'm not trying to hit that number! Just by adding the 40-gram breakfast and a 20gram snack is a big increase for me, so I'll start there and see how I do. Keep us posted how you do!

I wasn’t loosing weight but mostly all I ate were carbs. SO a Nurse told me I’m not eating enough proten. I eat grilled chicken & fish & High protein powder (no beef or pork because cholesterol high) levels to be drawn Sept 12. I have lost 4 pounds doing that in 7 weeks. I’m diabetic so its hard to loose any faster 😭

Got an hour in yesterday before the rain came in! I will probable get another hour in today either indoors or out. Friday afternoon going out with a friend I hope to get 30-40 miles in.

Oops looks like I edited my last post until I deleted it
Day 2: of high protein has released some weight. With the no sugary treats and no eating after dinner I am feeling better.
Yesterday, I ate chicken, hamburger, ham, and eggs. I eat my protein with veggies. Today more of the same

BigDfromNJ great reminder when eating high protein that's about all you get Adding sugar to the menu is just too much. About 6 month ago, I joined a weight loss challenge at the CrossFit gym was amazed how my body changed. Not a lot of weight release (I'm around 5 lbs from goal) but the muscles were so defined.
Jeannie best wishes with your September blood draw. You're going to make the doctors and yourself proud. I'm do for blood work September 9th.

@jeanniewes You're losing weight at exactly the right pace! slow and steady is the way you keep it off! I too was told to eat more protein, which I am but I'm also watching all the added calories that can come with that. Good luck on your new LIVE-IT (that's the word I use instead of Diet, I'm not trying to Die, I want to Live healthy!)

Fun day planned here, shopping with my friend Rebecca. We’re packing our lunches which is another plus for both of us.
Last day on the house painting. So first thing I got their cooler filled, coffee and snack tables ready. So today, DH will make sure they have everything they need.
