September 1:So, not a good weigh-in. I really wasnβt on my best eating behavior over the weekend, no food logging and no movement. Thinking the first week was a lot of water weight which has happened to me before. Still down 2.6 so far for the month, only 1.4 to go to meet the monthly goal.

September 6:Total loss for August: Posting a day early; I will be away from scale tomorrow. I'm down a third of a pound this month, which is better than a gain. I'm down 2.1 pounds for the year. Not great, but I'm still in a healthy weight range even if it's higher than I want.

September 6:For better or worse, I weigh daily and there were a lot of fluctuations this week. I was prescribed prednisone for a back issue and I'm in the tapering stages of it thankfullyβI think that was the main cause of the roller-coaster ride. Also had an A1C drawn and it showed that I was "pre-diabetic" but at the lowest range of the scale (5.7%). The doctor didn't seem too concerned but I'm a little freaked out. π One last rant, the scale at the doctor's office weighed me in at almost 7 pounds higher than at home! Granted, I had shoes and clothes on, but wowza, what a kicker. I'm going to ignore that weight and keep on with my home scale because I'm not sure what else to do, lol. Have a good Saturday all! β€οΈ

08/17 β 184.8 β (Trend Weight β 184.6)Well, you can tell by my trend weight that I did pretty well this week until I began to show a gain for several days in a row for no reason. In fact, I gained 3 pounds in two days. A few days prior to that I did have one 2500 calorie day, but otherwise, most days hovered between 1000 and 1200 calories and I worked out nearly every day too. Sometimes it just canβt be explained but Iβll trust the process and be grateful that I am still down a nice amount since starting weight for August. Keep going Donna, itβs bound to level off at some point!
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ08/24 β 187.6 β (Trend Weight β 185.1) Well, the weight hasnβt βleveled offβ like Iβd hoped this week. And todayβs is reflecting an overnight jump by 2 lbs after a birthday party yesterday. In the past two weeks, my body seems to be having a mind of itβs own that I couldnβt affect, no matter what I did. So to add this weight on top of it was disheartening. Time to roll up my sleeves, stick with the program, study my food diary and figure it out. 10 days ago on the 14th I weighed 181.8 so a 6 lb gain in 10 days just doesnβt make any sense. Especially when most of those days were spot on. Lotβs of homework to do here!

I had hoped to hit my goal wt in Aug. now it looks like sept is realistic. I may adjust my goal wt when I get there or I may keep it. Down 66 lbs since 1-1-23 its been a long road.

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ08/31 β 181.8 (Trend Weight β 184.5)I managed to pull off and even achieve my goal after the hefty jump up last week that was an overnight gain from a birthday party which included some travel. So in actuality, I have lost 3 pounds in the past two week which allowed me to not only finally achieve goal this month, but exceed it by a couple of pounds. I am happy how it all turned out in the end. The challenge in September will be to not only hang onto it, but to continue toward new goals. Itβs been exciting, encouraging and inspiring to see all the progress and the efforts by everyone this month. Weβve got this! See you in September!
