    My name is Donna. I am 65 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5โ€™ 5โ€ tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018. I weigh weekly but also on the 1st and last day of each month for a full monthโ€™s account.

    10/05 โ€“ 186.0 โŒ (Trend Weight โ€“ 184.4) Itโ€™s been a horrible undisciplined week which included everything from devil-may-care behaviors that donโ€™t serve me to emergency feeding frenzies during severe diabetic sugar drops. However, the exercise has been excellent this week and the addition of so much fall yard work that never seems to end is helping to burn many calories. I must not get complacent though. Weight loss begins and ends in the kitchen and you cannot outrun (or out-rake) the fork!

    ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ 10/12 -- 181.8 โœ… (Trend Weight: 184.2) Wow, nice whoosh. The last time I weighed 181.8 was on Aug 31st for one day only. Then I promptly shot back up to 188 within 48 hours! This is the week in which my original running weekly goal would hit the 170โ€™s for the 1st time this round. Itโ€™s nice to be this close again as it makes me hopeful that I can get there. In the words of Paul Ankaโ€ฆ.โ€So closeโ€ฆSo Close and yet so far.โ€ (To the younger folks out there, heโ€™s a singer and thatโ€™s in one of his songs). In the words of another great old song, โ€œHang on Sloopy, Sloopy hang on!โ€

    December 31, 2024 Weight: 158.0 (10-day average 157.2)
    September 27 (Starting Weight for this challenge): 157.4 (10-day average 155.0)
    October goal: Get below the top of maintenance weight range (153 pounds)
    Ultimate goal: Stay in maintenance range between (absolutely 140 - 153 and ideally 142-148)

    Total loss for October: Up a third of a pound. Damn. Last couple weeks were a success. This week; not so much. I'm now only down 1.9 pounds for the year. The whole YEAR and down less than two pounds. Ugh.
