Hello! I’m planning on doing the whole 3-month challenge, but will add Nov and Dec dates as I go. Wednesdays work best for me. As far as goals, the best I’ve been able to do in the past with diet and exercise is a pound a week and that’s with a lot of discipline and logging my food. I lost about 25 pounds in the past, but when I stopped logging, it came back.

Im writing this today to start my journey over again . I have one week to work and then have one week off work, this includes my husband birthday and then my birthday celebrations.Im not going to be strict but we are planning days out , walks and im going to start to add some more exercises daily.
I am preparing to join the challenge properly in November. I want to be mentally prepared. Ive had a lifetime of dieting. I am certainly an emotional eater..9Im 42, soon be 43 and just feel I have let myself go. I have kept.clothes I used to fit in to, as I remember how great I felt, so hoping it be an added incentive
I figure and hoping if I have challenge, where I 'have' to show my weight journey then maybe it will help me reset my eating habits.
I am doing this for myself but as I said I am hoping by checking in on a weekend then it will help.

I’m back again. MFP starting weight 2/2011: 160.2 lbs Since then I’ve come & gone, started, stopped. Weight bounced around from 140-168 lbs. Wanting to be consistent to lose down to about 98 lbs & be healthier & stronger. (64, F, 4’11” or less & small boned—athlete in past but that was long ago). 10/13 – 181.2 ✅ (Trend Weight – 183.9) I had quite the whoosh this week and lots of very compliant days strung together. It really paid off. This is the month that I am hoping to touch the 170’s as shown by my goal below. Oh how I hope I can do that by the end of the month, even for just a moment! I do not want to stay in the 180’s as long as I stayed in the 190’s. I really need to stick to good habits to reach good goals.
🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃10/20– 183.4 ❌ (Trend Weight – 183.7) This has been a challenging week. I traveled twice which really puts on the bloat. One of the trips netted an overnight gain of over 5 lbs. I pretty quickly shed that had another trip right on it’s heels. This week I hope to string enough days together to make some progress. Movement is key since I’m pretty much stuck in a car for hours on end when I travel. It’s getting pretty cold here in Northern Michigan USA so I will have to be creative on how to burn some calories inside. I’m quite far from my October goal. I hope I can make some strides in the time we have left. I am pretty sure I cannot lose the full 3.1 now with only 1 ½ weeks left, but I should be able to put a dent in it. I really want those 170’s!

My handyman is moving along slowly and because the work is in the kitchen, it does make meal planning challenging. I haven’t exercised in 4 days but I have chased after DGS all weekend and I have gotten a lot of raking and burning done. I don’t know how much any of that “counts” or what an impact it makes in the big picture but it’s a little something, right? I’m 0.8 above starting weight and only 4 days left until the final post of October. I would love to get at least to starting weight. Or maybe put a dent in the 2.4 lbs I was behind this month in my overall goal. Hey, dream big right? Hmph…..

🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 10/31 – 184.0 ❌ (Trend Weight – 184.2) Once I got off the rails, I had a hard time finding my way back. I gained one pound this month instead of losing. I’m disappointed in myself as I have no valid excuses. But although I sometimes give IN, I never give UP so I’ll move into November with head held high and hope in my heart. Nice job to everyone for showing up and doing your best. Your best is always good enough!

Hi everyone,
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!🎃 Well, I've been really slacking off lately (a LOT), but now I'm back and will post a brand-new, "Day ONE" beginning Wednesday, November 5th. It doesn't help that now I have a hip problem (left side). Oh, well. I've just got to keep going, even though activity will be challenging until this heals. I'm also having pain on the outside of my right foot, probably because I'm trying to keep weight off my left hip while walking. I feel like I need crutches or something! I will try to be more consistent about posting beginning tomorrow, November 1st. Can hardly believe we are already setting the clocks back this Sunday (most of us, anyway).

Hello! End of October and decided to update for the end of the month. I'll be back on to Mondays from now on. I'm disappointed in only losing one pound. Not an excuse but…. too many trips and dinners with friends this past month: Too much wine and cheese! I suddenly got Plantar Fasciitis and I am blaming it on my weight. But had to stop walking. Had a nice talk with my husband about how much SALT we are eating in processed food. Thought it would work, but he came home with a jar of pizza sauce today. Frustrating.

🦃🦃🦃🦃 11/01 – 183.0 ✅ (Trend Weight – 184.1) Below is my Trend Weight graph for the past 6 months. I did really well starting around my birthday (May 10th) through summer. Then in September and throughout Autumn I have really become stagnant and fizzled out. No big permanent gains, just kind of like a firecracker that turned out to be a dud. It’s time to pick up some steam again, some sparkle. With the holidays directly in front of us, it won’t be easy but I’m going to give it the old college try and do my best to navigate it. I won’t settle for just “not gaining” during the holidays. The losses need to pick back up and push their way through. I never know what tomorrow brings, but today I feel ready! New Month, Fresh Start!

I’m back again. MFP starting weight 2/2011: 160.2 lbs Since then I’ve come & gone, started, stopped. Weight bounced around from 140-168 lbs. Wanting to be consistent to lose down to about 98 lbs & be healthier & stronger. (64, F, 4’11” or less & small boned—athlete in past but that was long ago).
