    I'm 25 and I am getting married May 22nd. I am from Alaska. I am only 5'1" The wedding was is a really short time from now, but we only just decided to get married recently, so I am hoping to lose a little weight before then, but my main goal is to get closer and closer to my goal weight of 150.

    Starting weight March 17th: 222.5 lbs
    Current: 217.5 lbs
    Total lost: 5 lbs

    I have just been counting calories and working out as much as I can. I usually just do workout dvds at home since I don't have a gym membership yet.
  • Congrats Laura on your upcoming wedding! I'm getting married in October, so I have a little more time on my side than you do, but I'm sure you will look fantastic on your wedding day! Just keep up the good work... it seems like you have a good routine going.

    Hey, I've lost 4 lbs since I last posted! That's about a lb a month. Not bad for being so close to my goal. :smile: I put on a pair of cargo shorts today to go hiking, and when I wore them back in August they were really tight. Then I realized I weighed 144 in August and now I'm at 130. I didn't even realize I'd lost 14 lbs! I was so focused on being stuck that I didn't realize what progress I'd already made. :smile: I lost about 1/2 inch in my waist this month.

    It looks like this was started a couple months ago, but i'm glad that it was brought back up.

    I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3. & year old boy, 5 year old boy and 3 year old girl. Just recently becoming a stay at home mom I have more time throughout the day to get my excersise in but more time to snack :blushing:

  • Hi guys! I'm exactly 20. I will be 21 on August 1st. I'm getting married in a little over a year and a half and want to buy a wedding dress that's not a plus size!

    Hey we are almost weight twins! I was at 144 in August. I got stuck at 134 in October after the easy first 10 came off, and now I've finally gotten to 130. I also would like to get to 120-125 but I'm focusing mostly on body fat. I am also 5'0. So buying pants is tough even now and I'm pretty lean! :ohwell:

    Does anyone else have more specific goals? I would like to reach 15-19% body fat...anywhere in there is good hehe. :smile: I figure I'll have to lose another 5-10 lbs to reach that level. I also wouldn't mind being in a size 4 pant. I'm currently in a size 6 that is big in the waist (and way too long in the legs LOL).

    This is an awesome post....I am 22 (23 in May), my starting weight is 163 lbs and my goal weight is 130 lbs. I'm 5'6 and also in grad. school trying to fight the temptations of beer and pizza. I'm tired of feeling embarassed about the way I look! I want to feel good and look good again! There's no turning back!

    I absolutely love this! It's what I've been waiting for but never thought of starting it myself.

    I'm 23, will be 24 September 11th.
    Starting weight: 160 lbs
    Lost so far: 11 lbs.
    Goal weight: 125-130ish lbs and no jiggling body parts

    I've always been on the heavy side due to delicious southern/cajun cuisine
    but now I've been in a serious relationship for a little over two years now
    and the weight I have put on has to come off...and then some.

    I find that I still jiggle unless I'm actively flexing. I think some jiggling is just inherent. :laugh: Southern food will really do it to you! My bf is a GREAT cook and it's so hard not to eat huge portions. :frown:

    What are those of you in grad school planning on? I have to take a year of biochem and organic chem at the community college before I get started on my PhD in Physiology. I can't WAIT. :drinker:
  • I wanna join! Turned 24 in November. I want to look great for when I turn 25 plus I have a lot of up and coming events I want to feel fabulous for! From weddings to trips, I want to feel confident and be the absolute best version of myself. Life is short and I don't want to regret what I was too lazy to persevere through! I'm on a mission!
