    Hey angel, there was such a difference in the consensus of calories, I ended up wearing my pedometer (which shows calories burned) for a 30 minute session of Zumba and figuring it out for myself, then adding it for an exercise. Depending on your weight, you can burn anywhere from 400 - 800 calories and hour. I'm trying to remember, but I think I was burning about 400 but my DH was getting around 600. It's also going to depend on how intense you get with it. I have to take it at an easier pace than DH because of my shoulder. So if you have a pedometer, do it that way so you can figure it out for you.

    Pooh - sending congratulations your way for your son!!!!

    Angel - I find the aerobics on the exercise here is the best and most accurate to track Zumba. I use a HRM so it's right on, and the aerobics on is the closest I've found. Some will use the website zumba calories (or something like that), but it's way too high of an estimate I find.

    P.S. - glad you loved Zumba, I LOVE IT!
