"Frailty "
Starring Bill Paxton, Matthew McConaughey, & Powers Boothe. Awesome flick with a great story, and wicked ending!!!0 -
Life or Somthing Like it (with Angelina Jolie)...great message in there.
and for those who mentioned Better off Dead....GREAT freakin' movie...loved it, laughed at it, quoted lines from it for years, and would sit and watch it again anytime its on!!0 -
drop dead fred , its one of my favorite movies ever and hardly anyone i know has herd of it
Haha, that is one crazy movie, but I really liked it too.0 -
I think a lot of hardcore horror lovers would know this, but not the average movie goer. It's a French horror called Martyrs. It's amazing.0

I've seen The Life of David Gale.
I've heard of lucky # Sleven, but didn't hear much about it one way or another, so I'll definitely give it a shot now.
A couple movies I like that few seem to have seen:
Little Noises with Crispin Glover and Tatum O'Neal
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr.
There are more I'm sure.0 -
What About Bob "I'm taking a vacation from my PROBLEMS"0
-
Erik the Viking with Tim Robbins by Terry Jones of Monty Python fame.
Mallrats. Everyone gushed about Chasing Amy, but I just wanted to slap everyone. Mallrats was full-blown hysterical.
The Rutles. A precursor to Spinal Tap, but Beatles-ish instead of metal.0 -

Love that one, too.
My husband says I remind him of the girl in the movie. Not Phoebe Cates as the little girl all grown up. Just the little girl. :laugh:0 -
"Delta of Venus"......should be RRR almost X rated.....but an excellent thought-provoking one.0

Master of Disguise! LOL. though I know why. it has like a 3% or something on rotten tomatoes...but *I* liked it!
I loved this movie! Announcing that was followed by an incredible amount of derision amongst my friends. My reply?...."Turtle, turtle"0 -
Return to Oz.
Dorothy goes back to Oz, and it's all beat up and run-down.
Kinda creepy to watch as a kid. But I always enjoyed it.0 -
...oh!
And Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael.
And Repo Man.
And Sid and Nancy.0 -
The orginial 1979 Rock 'n' Roll High School. The Ramones version.
Bad news for the Drop Dead Fred fans (of which I am one), Russell Brand is playing Fred in a Universal Studio's remake that is going to be made more in a Beetlejuice type dark style.0 -
*Waking Ned Devine
LOVE this one...we have it on DVD and pull it out to watch from time to time.
Also like The Secret of Roan Inish (good wholesome family type movie with great Irish culture mixed in :-)0 -
You all have inspired me to start pulling up some of these on Netflix... Good stuff to watch while on the elliptical :-)0

Definitely going to look into watching some of these!
Another absolute favorite, Empire of the Sun. It is an incredible film, starring Christian Bale, who at that time was only 12 years old when cast.
For those who are fans of The Mentalist and The Guardian, Simon Baker is in a movie "Something New"...another great movie.0 -

Quite true, he's not Rik Mayall, but he's close enough. I liked Rik as Lord Flashheart in Blackadder better though.0
