    I have an 18 year old son away at college-every nite I text him "goodnight & I love you" would that help make you happy?

    Awww that is such a sweet thing! Well i dont know if he likes it but i wish i had a mother to do that to me every night:) that made me smile so much!! thanks:)

    When I feel down or depressed and sorry for myself...I reach for one of our many animals and hold and stroke them. The sound of a purring cat or the look of love in an adoring dogs face makes me realize I am not alone...I am loved..and I am worthwhile. I believe Animals are the closest beings to God. They are pure and self-less. I don't know if you have the privilage of having a pet of your own...if you do, reach out...you wont have to reach very far.
    If not, next time you are out...visit a Petsmart or place where they are adopting animals--go and hold a puppy or a kitten. I guarantee you will feel better.
    Also, don't know if you have access to radio--but your local KLOVE station always has positive music and uplifting messages of a Spiritual (non-denominational) nature.
    Know you are beautiful and perfect just the way you are!

    I am feeling a lot better. Its the kind of hurt that takes a while to heal. But i am feeling a lot better thanks to you all. Those that took the few minutes to post or even just to read what i wrote have my complete thanks:)

    GIRL'S NIGHT OUT

    The other evening, my friends and I went to a ladies' night club. One of the girls wanted to impress the rest of us, so she pulled out a $10 bill. When the male dancer came over to us, my friend licked the $10 bill and stuck it to his butt cheek!

    Not to be outdone, another friend pulled out a $20 bill. She called the guy back over, licked the $20 bill, and stuck it to his other butt cheek.

    In another attempt to impress the rest of us, my third friend pulled out a $50 bill and called the guy over. I was worried about the way things were going, but she licked the bill and just stuck it to one of his butt cheeks.

    My relief was short lived however. Seeing the way things were going, the guy gyrated over to me! Now everyone's attention was focused on me, and the guy was egging me on to try and top the $50. My brain was churning as I reached for my wallet. What could I do?

    I got out my ATM card, swiped it down the crack of his butt, grabbed the 80 bucks and went home.

    That just made my day!!!!
