Fear Thread! What are you afraid of?

the depth and pervasiveness of American stupidity....
oh, and choking.

When I think about getting a cut. When I actually do cut myself it isn't that bad but the thought of it creeps me out.

I have the same thing with heights and enclosed spaces. I have no problem with those things in real life, but thinking about them freaks me out.

1) Losing the people I love; not necessarily b/c of being alone, but to no longer have that dynamic in my life & concern for their well-being.
2) Success/Failure; I'm a perfectionist yet don't enjoy being held to a constant standard that comes with it. I don't like feeling like a failure when I've put my entire being into something. Yet I would never want to just cruise thru life.. A constant focus on balance for me.

Hardcore Twilight fans. Just kidding.

Clowns - When I had my wisdom teeth removed I was so wacked out on gas (they kept me awake!), that I started to hallucinate that Pennywise from the movie 'It" was using a chainsaw to take them out.......

Good Lord! I hate clowns and I just got over my fear of dentists. Reading this just set me back big time! I hallucinated that I was dying last time they used gas on me and started yelling!

Spiders

Being broke like we were when I was a kid growing up

Moving from this house (have never lived anywhere else) and starting a new life.

That last one is kind of exciting too.

I'm taking it old-school... the dark. Creeps me the heck out.

And, anything with more than four legs. I can handle snakes, mice, whatever, just no bugs... bleh!:noway:

Bad people. Popping balloons. Heights. Falling. Food stuck at the bottom of a sink full of water where you can't see it. Deep water. Anything to do with slitting wrists drives me up the wall. Spiders. Germs. Bad food/uncooked meat. Mold. The list goes on!

I'm afraid of Americans. I'm afraid of the world. I'm afraid I can't help it. I'm afraid I can.



I'm afraid of fear. It's very meta. :laugh: Seriously. That is my phobia.

My irrational phobias are heights and turtles. Especially baby ones. ::shudder::

Oh, I have a hardcore phobia of puking. I avoid it at all costs.

Also, spiders and bugs in general. I just can't handle them!

And drowning.

Getting my head stuck in a tight, dark corner. o.o

Spiders and scorpions, chair lifts, being alone in the dark.

Needles...specifically blood tests..I hate the idea of veins and needles together yuck yuck yuck i cringe..They have wrote needle phobic in my clinic hospital files lol
