    lol this is probably a method they have for keeping people paying for the gym membership "sell more junk food so people feel they need to come burn off every last calorie" lol

    my local gym has had a revamp and its all new and shiny however the additional vending machines have caused much head scratching as to who at head office authorized it. I equate it to selling beer at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting!!

    Our gym is next to a Subway - I often smell their bread baking on the way out.

    OH - I used to go to a gym that was next to a Dairy Queen.

    There's a new branch of a chain gym opening up nearby so I checked out its webpage (looking for a new gym possibly, its getting cold and dark!) ....

    .... apparently every monday night there's a pizza party that they serve "hundreds of pizzas" at.

    *sigh*

    Yep ~ I go to that gym haha ~ its the first monday night of the month. I dont really like pizza so it doesnt bother me.

    A funny, the first night we went (me an my gym buddy) we were on the treadmill an she out of the blue asks me if I think they would get upset if she was eating pizza on the treadmill. I cracked up laughing ~ I replied that she might get a funny look or 2.
    Thing was, I hadnt seen the pizza, and from where I was at it was hidden by something else.
    She isnt there to lose weight, she's there to support me, and gain muscle. She's tiny lol. Having said that, I do think its really odd that a gym would serve pizza.

    Maybe they've been watching The Biggest Lser and wanted to give everyone a temptation challenge. Maybe if you eat more treats than any other member you get a reward!

    I knew when I joined they had a 'no judgment zone' thing going on, what I didnt realize is just how anti-body building they are.
    Not that I really plan to change gyms, its the cheapest around, its clean and I can take anyone with me, as much as I want to without having to pay more. The other gym I was going to was over twice that, and I couldnt take anyone with me. I'll put up with the silly 'no judgement zone' thing :)

    When you know this is the same person that almost fell off of it when she had it set on 1.7 speed ~ then yeah, seriously dangerous.
    She's much much better now LMAO (thank god, any worse an we'd have had to make a trip to the er) an gets up to 3.5 with me :)
