trying new food styles -like Indian foods
spicy foods taste better now
I like that since stopping Diet Coke I really taste things.
I also adore the number on the scales and the old jeans that I saved from two sizes ago. They fit!0 -
As sick as this sounds, the feeling of hunger. After stuffing myself for years, forgot what it felt like to really be hungry. Nothing like pounding a 2,000 calorie meal after not eating for long periods of time.0

On the positive side, I started loving porridge, mango, low fat dairy and protein filled vegetarian foods after I started watching my calories.
On the negative side, I have developed a sweet tooth I never had before - I used to be able to take or leave chocolate, and now I like it. Also, my cheesecake longings have intensified.0 -
Greek yogurt and RUNNING further than I ever thought possible.0

Eating breakfast - I actually wake up hungry for my protein shake. Or look forward to my 100% whole wheat toast with natural (sugar free) peanut butter on Fridays.
Squash - used to hate the acorn and butternut Mom used to make. Turns out those (and spaghetti) are the only ones I don't like. Delicata is my favorite, but hard to find. Buttercup is a runner up.0 -
skinny cow ice cream!
And candies! I never had a sweet tooth until I started dieting:noway:
Same here! :noway: <---- I know right?0 -
skinny cow ice cream
grapefruit
oatmeal
clavicle (it stands out now)
egg whites
fish0 -
Spinach!
I could put it in ANYTHING. It's pretty much a staple in my diet, because I can add so much of it without dramatically increasing the calories and fat in my meal!
It's also really good if you don't want a giant meal, I just cook up a piece of chicken and put it in a bed of spinach, and I'm good to go0 -
How good exercise makes you feel, even if it is only a mini workout!0
-
Bananas! I used to hate them but now I enjoy them and have them nearly everyday. Pineapple, figs, dates, carrots, iceberg lettuce, and red bell peppers too.0

Me. I have such a positive self image now. i've learned to love me
Diet wise.
I love veggies and salad and fruit. They used to go bad in my fridge. They would go moldy and get thrown out. Now I "overeat" them. I love apples, peanut butter, and rice cakes too. Oatmeal, cream of wheat and cheerios, I have one of those Every morning.0 -
rice cake with almond butter
almond milk
my discipline with working out
substituting olive oil occasionally with water when cooking
pyrex containers for immediately storing leftovers!
chard and collard greens - one of these leaves with hummus as a roll up and I am good!
almond cashew kind bars with 150 calories (the lowest cals I have seen)
and my occasional glass or two of wine and piece of 88% dar chocolate0 -
Cookie Dough!! Actually, I love 2 eat peanut butter with celery( but cookie dough is my #1 favorite)0
-
Greek yogurt. I used to cringe at the sight of any yogurt and now I really dig the greek.
I also love the fact that I crave something terrible (like pizza or poutine fries) yet I'm able to resist the urge- most of the time! When I find myself craving the same thing for days or weeks on end.. I usually give in for a cheat day.. and it makes it THAT much better!
I have developed a sweet tooth after never liking chocolate or dessert very much but I'm glad to see that I am not the only one!0 -
EXERCISING!
i never knew "I" could love exercising so much now. I get excited for new workout DVDs and everything, my fav workouts have to be ofcoarse Jillian Michaels:laugh:

How easy this has been! Simply by having pretty much the same things, but now moderated, logged, and lots of exercise i enjoy...it's been a breeze! No rabbit food, no "cant have this, cant have that", i feel like "Why didn't i do this sooner?!"0
