6km this morning in the cold at the track. The instruction was to do a 5km time trial with a bit of a warm up and cool down.
Warm-up was a 2km bike up the hill followed by 400m jog and then 200m walk.
5000m was done in 23:02 with two quick stops for water
Cool down was a 400m walk followed by an 18.2km bike ride out to work.0 -

Two treadmill runs in two days. Man they suck, but I was being wimpy about the weather and having to run alone and be bored. So, the treadmill it was.

6.01mi in 54 minutes on Friday (4 minute walk cool down at the end)

16.22km today on a long slow run keeping mostly in zone 1. wasn't feeling the love at all until about 8km in the middle of a massive hill. felt great after that. weird but true.

Brick sessions are tough on the legs and motivation. I found it really difficult to keep my heart rate down and had to slow down to a jog a few times.
