For me, it's Almond milk
Soak almonds overnight in water
rinse them off
throw them in a blender with 2x (or more) water as almonds and blend
add sugar, honey, vanilla, or anything else to taste
blend some more
drain through a cheese cloth a time or two
What do you now make at home and how?

Deodorant, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, laundry soap soon, wash my fair with baking soda water and diluted Apple cider vinegar, going to make lotion, making yogurt right now and another batch of cheese (queso fresco) tomorrow.
From www.crunchybetty.com, the yogurt is from http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2008/10/you-can-make-yogurt-in-your-crockpot.html?m=10 -
I used to buy seltzer and diet soda, but now I have a Sodatream, and I've been experimenting with various homemade syrups to mix in.0

I make salsa in my food processor. Family loves it and says it is WAY better than "store bought."0

Pasta. Although I don't always have time.0

Salad dressings. They taste so much better homemade!0

2 tbs of water
1 tbs of cocoa
agave nectar to taste.

Oooh, I need to try that. I stopped buying Nutella years ago because it's so addictive and so terrible for you. Your version sounds a lot better because there are no added oils or sugar.0 -
I have a list of things since I've given up sugar...and it's in everything so I have to cook a lot from scratch but my favorites are chicken broth, wheat tortillas and sauerkraut. I never liked chicken broth or tortillas until I made them at home...they can't be beat!0

Pico de gallo, butter cream (I'm a baker), and cocktail sauce. I've heard you can make your own yogurt. I'd be interested in trying that.0

Hummus! It really is so easy to make...10 minutes! And you can customize your ingredients and flavors. So simple, and so much better than storebought.0

dried fruit! A lot of dried fruit we buy in the store has added sugar and sulphites, so my mom and I do our own. Its way healthier for you and I find it tastes way better too! Its a bit labour intensive but totally worth it.0

I've heard of a lot of different ways of making yogurt, but I went the traditional Indian way and I can never go back to store bought. This is what I do : Boil milk on the stove, let the milk cool down just slightly and add 2-3 tbsps of yogurt(homemade, preferably). I pop it in my oven at this point...my oven sits below my stove and the heat lets the yogurt set. Let it sit like that for about 24 hrs or do the taste test. Done! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
It did take me a couple of batches to get tht perfect batch of yogurt. But it does happen...once it does it is pure magic.0 -

The one I have came from this website. Someone may have a better one though. I just found it a few days ago & haven't made it yet:

food wise, i try and make as much as i can but now that i have a blender i will try and make more things.
bread- wheat, whole wheat, beer batter bread, flat bread, cinnamon rolls
hummus- depending if i'm lazy or not
face masks

i could do more, but ugh, lol laziness gets the best of me, and also limited amount of fridge and pantry space in the apt..ugggh.. IF I HAD TWO FRIDGES AND FREEZER ROOM. oh man, i'd make so much more stuff , but *sigh* i hate small spaces0 -
