Little Green Apples, by pretty much anyone. My mom always sang it to me when I was small.

Baby Mine by Bette Midler, because I sang it to my babies.

When I Grow Up To Be A Man by the Beach Boys, because my babies sing it to me.

Dreadful message in the lyrics but I've always thought Cocaine by Eric Clapton to be beautiful. Not in the Wow-I-want-this-to-be-played-at-my-wedding way but in feeling someone's experience through their music. Clapton does this so well.
