I know you all wonder this so I am just going to ask it: how many of you actually log in you know what (aka bed sheet exercise) as exercise? I was talking with Mr. Husband about this and he said he wouldn't be surprised if it was common to log it...thoughts??????and no, I do not log it.

It takes like 45 seconds to put sheets on a bed. Not worth logging, in my experience :P

I've seen it on different sites varying a lot. I think it depends how much effort you put into it ;) lol. I have logged it under the generic aerobic activity on MFP before.

I plan to wear my HRM next time I get some (you know, in 10 or 20 years.. when I'm married) and recording it hahaha

    No you aren't :)
I'm like a car during the winter. You have to start me up for a while to get my heater going :) lol
  • Depends who is doing the work...but I've noticed if I make the sheets, I can burn at least 1lb by the next day. It might be water weight, but damn I am happy in more than one way. Certain well known stores have exercise balls for women. Those work too!

LMAO I did too! Checked under a few "possible listings" (I'm bored, I have too much energy so I have the time to look)! Lol!

Nah I don't see how you can reliably count the calories, it would be different every time depending on the nature, the position, etc. plus who keeps track of how long it lasts?

Used my HRM once...I'm obsessive about accuracy and using the HRM is just too much trouble...so no. It's unrecorded bonus activity.

I checked as well and it wasn't there. hmmmm, think I should suggest it to Steve or Mike? lol..I wonder how many times a day they get that request haha

  • That's funny! I did look it up and it wasn't much. It depends on the time taken during the "event" but on average it was only about 90 calories. I log it because hey 90 calories is 90 calories.

So... if you played with Chocolate Sauce, does that mean those calories don't count, cuz you've already burned them off?

nope its not listed in the exercise database. so best to wear your HRM & log it as aerobic or circuit training. lol
BUT if you swallow it, you can log it! ~type in the food database "sperm"!
