Ripped in 30 in November-Does anyone want to join me?

Glad to have re-found this group. I've done 3 days of level 2 but took a rest day today. I'm sore everywhere and did t have my mojo. Will come back to it tomorrow. I can see a difference in my biceps, shoulders, and my thIghs and calves are getting more muscular and toned as well. Just keep pushing, right?

Not sure if I should celebrate or be very sad! If I don't receive those Bob Harper DVD's in the mail today, I think I will mix and match the Weeks on Ripped until I get them!!

:smooched: Since I didn't find time to do my workout yesterday, I made sure to get it in early today. So I can know say Week 3, Day 5 complete I'mloving this group, everybody is doing so well!

So exhausted from getting probably only like 8 hours of sleep total the past 2 days. Just got up from a 3 hour nap and still tired!!! Looks like today will have to be my rest day and tomorrow I will finish week 3 of Ripped.0

Just did wk1d1, loved it, wasn't too bad but amazed at how much i sweated. Love that is only 30 mins so acheivealbe. Look forward to the rest. what hand weights are people using and start on need to buy hand weights as had none today used zumba tonning sticks, what do i need to get wieght wise .0

W2 D6 done Tomorrow I'm starting W3. I enjoyed today the most. Funny how that works. It's taken me a while to warm up to Ripped after doing 30DS, but I really am loving it now. Looking forward to the next level and I really am feeling a lot tighter. Can't believe I'm already half way through! It goes much faster with a new workout each week.0

I'm going to have to do something like this too.I'm going to do 3 more days of week 3 starting tommorrow or just start week 4 tommorrow.We'll see.I have my family coming so I won't be able to workout for 3 or 4 days on Thanksgiving.I will start week 4 on sunday or monday after Thanksgiving and just do that into December.Around 11th or 12th I joined a group to do Jillian Michaels Killer buns and thighs workout after I'm finished with Ripped in 30 here.I did not finish and do week 4 the last time I did Ripped in 30.I really want to finish and do week 4 this time.0 -

I mostly use 5 pound weights, on the first day I used 3 lbs to get my form together.0 -

I'll finish this week and think I might try the shred-it video with kettlebells...I have 6W6P abs on my Xmas list, along with qual derby skates for the Spring...best gifts that I can think of!!0 -

Ha, ha...what a great idea I didn't know that she has a new one coming out in December so I will have to check it out.
Is anyone doing the Ripped again for the month of December. I, almost, feel like I should since I would like to be more proficient with the plank moves - even tho they are painful.
BTW, is anyone else clothes fitting so much better. MINE ARE!! :smokin: I'm so happy to dig in the back of the closet for a pleasant surprise!!0 -
I'm excited to have found this thread! I just joined MFP a week ago. I just finished ripped in 30 w4d1 a few minutes ago! In Oct I did the 30 day shred... My husband and I are going to start p90x next Monday. We are trying to get back into shape for the National Pole Vault Summit in Reno this Jan! I am a 28 year old mother of 2! Feels so great to be getting back into shape!0

I failed to post yesterday but I did Day 5 of L2, and today I will be doing D6. The past two days of the workout, I upped the weights from 5 to 10 lbs and found that I actually could handle it on everything but the tricep extensions. Felt good to push it that much.
I need to get off the computer and get it done for the day. I'm half an hour behind schedule, but if I get moving, I'll have enough time.
Looking forward to the sense of accomplishment of finishing level 2 and advancing to 3.
Out of curiosity - what size weights are you all using? Anyone using 10 pounders? On level 3?0 -

Ok, did W3 D1 today and I have to be honest. I really didn't like it. Yes, it's incredibly challenging, but it's more about the coordination! There are so many moves which are just awkward and uncomfortable. And I did 13 years of classical ballet, so I'm definitely not the most uncoordinated person around. I dunno. Anyway, I'll see what tomorrow is like. It seems like it would be really hard on the knees though. What did you guys think?

I hate week 3 but the scale finally moved during the 3rd week. I am on my second week of W3 today was day 2. I had to do it a second week because I hadn't mastered all the moves. I am going to do one more day then move on to week 4 on Thursday.0 -
Tomorrow I will be on Day 5 of Week 2!
Thanksgiving break will hopefully let me catch up some (I'm a grad student, so my schedule is a little wacky!).0
