    Eeek! I've been so bad with logging on this past weekend, forgot to check back in to see the challenge .... but I will do my best to burn 1000 calories today! :o)

  • Is it too late to join?? I'm in Australia we weight in kilograms so i converted at 143pounds to be 132 by christmas... will be a tough fight but i'm up for the challenge!!

    Had a long, hard workout at the gym this morning. Strength training with 30 minutes of interval sprints!!! 1hr35min. total workout time for 1137 calories!!! My legs feel like JELL-O!!!! LOL!!

    well I've been doing terribly these days, nowhere near 100 today, again!! I blame my illness, went to bed at 4pm yesterday and got up at 12pm today, been on my feet ever since though, so I guess that's a teeny bit of an excuse....

    Anyhoo!!

    END OF DAY FOUR OF THE MINI CHALLENGE! 31 days to go!!

    HOPEFULLY THE LAST DAY WILL GIVE ME A KICK UP THE *kitten*!

    Does anyone have any suggestions for 5 day mini challenges?

    Today I managed 824 calories and only ate 225 of them, its my weigh in day tomorrow so here's hoping!!! lol

  • Day 1 done... 800 calories burned! That bootcamp is gonna kill tomorrow! Loving the Aus weather at the moment bring on the great outdoors :)

    I know I'm a bit late but I would like to join anway. My start weight is 190lbs and my goal weight by Christmas is 180lbs!!! Good luck everyone!!!!

    so, END OF DAY FIVE!! I burned 784 kcals. Not the best but a much better effort than I would normally have done!

    Ok so today I managed 609 doing a Tabata class, Im feeling the effects already:frown: Im hoping to do 1000 or more again tomorrow but I guess we will just have to wait and see eh!

    781 calories today, mainly from my zumba class, didn't feel up to walking in that cold wind which was blowing and I've lost 1.2lb this week so feeling godd about that.

    Just an Idea, but as some of us have struggled to hit the 1000 calories a day (my god its hard) what do you think about burning 300 a day (or more) but not eating them? so your food diary will be 300 calories (or more) to the good (in the green)? For 1 week?

    So the daily goal, everyone, is now to burn 300 kcals, which you DON'T eat back! Kay?

  • Hi I have set a similar goal in the lead up to Christmas and that is to try and lose 10lbs (I am just starting out so hopefully shouldnt be too difficult!)

    Good luck in your challenge :D I'm definately going to join you in the burning of 300 kcals a day too! x

    I actually bought a fitted dress that is too tight to fit and have to fit in it by christmas. so I better see a difference:)

  • I did 659 (thursday) I have planned todays food and some wine this evening and i need to burn 505 calories to meet the challange.
    For a satisfying lunch that is low in calories (lowest i can find in a shop) Chilli chicken noodle salad from Tesco 165 calories, thats what I have for lunch when im doing little exercise and want a drink.

    I was finding the 1000 a day really hard and only managed it once! I think that 300 is a more realistic goal (without killing yourself) I work long hours and find it hard to fit the time in to do 1000 calories, that is a zumba class and a 40 min walk for me. I'm at home to sleep and thats about it! The proof will be in the weigh ins, I do mine on a sun morning.

    Maybe up it to 400 for the next week if people are doing well with it, seems like they are on the first day. WELL DONE :flowerforyou: Lets stay motivated people :wink: :happy:

    This challange has really made me get my butt in gear. Thank you LondonerLoser for starting it, at this rate we will all look fab at our xmas do's.
