Where did you meet your special someone?

She was standing on a street corner in a half-torn mini skirt, heels, and some white powder around her nose. I was driving by and happened to have a 5 dollar bill on me. The rest is history.

That's the most romantic story ever.

Prison. LOL No seriously, we met at work. We're not together anymore, but that's where we met... I have no clue where to meet Mr Right.

I met my lovely guy on a blind date set up by his sisters who I knew quite well, I didnt realise they had an older brother it was christmas I had come out of a 5 year relationship and his marrige had ended a few months before.

I arranged and cancelled a ew times and he had even had a new haircut or one o the occasions and his sister told me how gutted he was... I soon softened and agreed ...He picked me up to take me out and turned up an hour early. I had to ring my neighbour to come over and iron my clothes as I still had wet hair and didn't want him to see me with no make up. She came up and told me he smelled good and was cute and she was sure he was my type.

We went for a drive to another village where we went to a local pub. The rest is history we hit it off imediatly and have been together for 5 years. We now live in that village and I think we are pretty much perfect for eachother.

Quite sickly I know haha. It is scary how much we had and have in common x

Online... a free one! I was just about to call it quits on dating websites.. and BAM.. he emailed me... I was like, "Dang, he's cute... it can't hurt!" We just bought a house and have plans to get married.. someday..

It's called Plenty of Fish... there are some really interesting people on there.. but if you can wade through the BS of some of the guys, then there really are people that want to find that special person.

At my summer job.....making subs at Blimpie's. He had put in an application one of the days I was working and I put in a good word....because he was looking so good....and he got the job. We flirted instead of trained on his very first shift. :laugh: 12 years later, we're still making each other laugh.

he responded to my personal ad in Nov '08 (few ups and downs) we got married Feb '11. he is my best friend and I love him more and more every day.

I met my husband in a bowling alley. We were on the same league...different teams. My team won 1st pace, his won 2nd and I got 2 children and a wonderful marriage out of it! ;-)

Me too!!! AND i took him home that night, lmao. We've been together for over 6 years and almost to our 4 year anniversary. Even though there are days where i would like to choke him.... i can't imagine my life with out him.

BTW, this is a World of Warcraft reference for all of you who don't know...

We met at church - I was close to our Pastor's family and he was practically raised as family along with them so we had mutual friends. We become the best of friends and stayed that way - we would go separate ways for a few months at a time and both had kids with other people but always came back in touch with each other - never went longer than 6 months without speaking at all. We loved about 50 miles apart but that didn't matter either. He started working for Boeing where I worked and we still remained friends until one day we started talking about what life would be like together. That was 13 years after we met...started talking about marriage in September and in November we were married - just celebrated out 7th wedding anniversary this month.
