"So I am eating 1200 calories and I have a hard time reaching that goal. Please help me in reaching my goal I just can't eat that much"
These posts annoy me...We all became overweight because we OVER ATE AND HAD way too many calories. Obviously more then 1200. So why do I keep seeing these posts? Annoying.

Agreed. Very annoying.0

Yeah it gets annoying.0

Lol I know this is going to offend some xD
I think that it is more of a mental block. I could easily put away 3,000 calories a day0 -
I suspect that the reason these posts appear is because once a person switches from fattening food to healthy food, they find they can eat a greater amount of healthy food for the same calories what they once ate cost them.0

I fully agree with this.0 -

lol trouble eating 1200 cals :P have a weightgainer 1010cals!!!! n eat couple almonds!
even though its dumb and annoying at the same time i kind of understand what their saying.. the ppl usually that say that have some kind of eating disorter and have a mental block that they simply cant eat food because it makes them feel fat right away or some crap like that lol
at end of the day yes its still dumb but i also understand what ppl r trying to say n they do need to suck it up n deal with their issiues..0 -
Agreed - its annoying and some of them border on insult to those of us who are chipping away and doing it the right way.
My favourite though - I have to lose at least 40 pounds before my office Christmas party in 3 weeks... Please - how can I do this?!0 -
Healthy food doesn't have to be low calorie though. Adding in 2 servings of nuts can be 300 calories. Eating doesn't seem too hard to me.
I enjoy venting :]0 -

Yes, but they must realise they are setting themselves up for failure if they cut everything out and take all the fun from it?!0 -

This^ and some can be people that have issues with eating.0 -
maybeeeee maybeeee they are trying to eat 1200 calories at every meal??!!!???
wouldn't that be sumpthin?0 -
I'm 125lbs and yes sometimes can get full if I have plenty of PROTEIN and stay at 1200, but that is not an everyday thing. It's rare, but as soon as I have cravings I go to bed. Now my body is getting used to it.0

Yikes! I hope that's not a direct quote.0 -
If it's a psych problem with eating the 1200 then fine but I think they need to realize that is what it is and rephrase their question.
If it's because they've switched to healthy food then that's great but there are still high calorie food groups that need fitting into a balanced diet.
Either way I sympathize with them but agree that asking a question like that in a weight loss forum is insensitive and will only lead to upside down smiles lol0 -

Good thing I have some control or i'd be about 400lbs by now >.<0 -
I totally agree that if it was that hard, people would not have gained in the first place....I think if someone is serious about making a sustained change, they would see that it is not hard to hit 1200 or more.0

Hey, that would be nice. Any advice anyone? I'd love some of them tiny *kitten* jeans that are always on clearance because hardly anyone can actually wear them! Can you make that happen???? :laugh:0 -

Many think that they need to eat as little as possible to lose weight. I think they are just scared to eat more. Many are scared of fat too!
It always confuses me when i see these posts because the answer is pretty obvious xD0 -
Maybe it is because they are scared to eat too much. I think some people's minds react differently to dieting. For some people calories = weight gain. They don't want to be fat anymore, they want to lose the weight so they are afraid of eating more than 1200 calories. It can be a pretty warped mindset. Some people think the less calories they eat, the better. Even if they can logically think/read/know that less than 1200 is not healthy, it's not an easy thing to over come.
I think instead of being annoyed by these people you should try and support them. They are struggling with things too.0 -

Why do I keep seeing posts about these posts? -_-
Sometimes it's hard to get up to 1200 if you've cut out junk food and pop. I have days where i don't eat 1200. You can have a bunch of small meals with choices that happen to be low-calorie, and just not hit that 1200 mark. How is that difficult to understand? People can have a history of eating too many calories and still have trouble eating all of their calories in the present. Habits change. That's why we're here. Some people just have a harder time finding a good balance.
No need to complain about other people wanting help finding that balance. Seriously.0 -
1200 can be hard if your trying to eat clean with lean proteins and vegetables . that's alot of veggies!!! thank goodness for almonds!! and my Oreos.......0
