What are some healthy snacks? I love to eat fruits and almonds. Need some new items, that are possibly high in protein too.

    apples and peanut butter
    banana and peanut butter
    triscuits
    rice cakes (different flavors)

there's probably lots more, but I can't think of them all at the moment. Not many of these are high in proteins, but good for quick snacks. :-)

I eat a lot of light popcorn! Super low in calories and it keeps me away from the chips!

Aldi's has a flavored hummus tray right now. Has anyone tried this? I've not ever had hummus but it looks fantastic!

I noticed "somersaults" on one of my pals' diaries yesterday, asked what they were and she gave me the link to the site (see below). I noticed that the Whole Foods store near my house sells them and I plan to try them this weekend. Since I'm allergic to nuts, I'm pretty stoked about trying a crunchy snack that is solid on protein/fiber.

in addition to this, I also enjoy protein powder with water, various raw veggies and fruits, and PB as snacks.

Just checked the link ... these sound amazing and I'm happy to see there is a store near me who sells them. Thanks!!

Here are some of my typical snacks:
Black berries, raspberries, blue berries, any berries!! Lower in sugar and carbs and high in fiber!
Eggplant hummus with celery (half the fat and calories of regular hummus)
    Baby carrots
Apples, Pears, Banana's and other fruits. Plumcots when in season are spectacular!
And at night, I make a modified "grilled cheese" ... Thomas Light English Muffin (higher in protein/fiber than other muffins), slice of light cheese and either a slice of tomato or a tablespoon of bruschetta ... 180 calories, good protein and fiber and low in fat and sooooooooo good!

    Happy snacking!!

Your welcome. I am a creature of habit and was getting sick of the same foods.
