Ok I actually weighed myself today and my start point is 166lbs, not 168 as I'd estimated.0

Hello friends,
Weighed in today (instead of yesterday) and although I'm still a bit up from my lowest weight at the start of November I'm moving back down in the right direction and I'm less than I was right after Thanksgiving.

December is a really hard month to lose weight, but we can do it! One thing that I'm trying to keep in mind is that this is not the last chance I have to eat _______, I can pass this time/ this week/ this month/ this year and still be able to enjoy myself knowing that I will feel great, look great, and eat that yummy _______ once I am at my goal!
Also if I do eat something that I had not planned in I can always just run around the block a few times to make up for it!

I usually host challenges, currently doing one that wraps up on Dec 14th, but I'd love to be in one where I can just be the participant :happy:
I'm going to keep my weighins on Thursdays as that will be exactly 5 weeks; with my final weighin on Sat the 31st! (gives me a couple days at the end to step it up!)

Hi everybody! This is my first post, have only been "on plan" since Wednesday, but I'm determined! Have around 40 lbs to lose total. I weighed myself Thankgiving and i was 202. I would love to break through to the 100's and by NYE be 195! Can't wait to chat with you all!

I'm in, but my weight has been VERY stubborn this past week even though I am just under my calorie count and am working out 3 to 4 times a week. If I meet this goal, I will have lost 1/3 of my target loss goal.

Hope it's not too late to join you all. Would love to keep motivated in December. It's so difficult to lose weight at this time for me. My starting weight as of December 1 was about 180.5. Will leave the weigh-in the same-Thursdays.

Hey everyone (and welcome to all the newcomers)...
It's already Dec 5th, and I'm finally checking in. I may have indulged a little too much during my birthday celebrations... and now the Christmas celebrations are starting up. It's going to be a tough month, but I need to get some focus, as I've been heading in the wrong direction for Oct and Nov. I gained 1 pound each month instead of losing 5.
On Dec 1st, I weighed in at 150. And today, I'm up to 152. EEK!! :noway:
I must get back on track. The shorter colder days have really thrown my workouts out the window. I must start exercising again. @Terri, great idea to aim for at least 1-mile per day! It's more than what I've been doing too! Hope your toe is feeling better soon. Thanks for the challenge idea - I'll try to remember to park farther away.
@Bru - I'm totally in your dust... I was almost keeping up with you a few months ago on those HMT runs! Great work - so glad to see you sticking with it. j
@Jen+2, congrats on losing a pant size! I'm planning to join you in the 140's again. I've hit my "RED ALERT" weight (i.e. anything over 150) and need to make some changes.
