It's all I use. It's not cheap but it's worth it.0

It's all I use too. I have oily skin and liquid makeup just melts off.0
-
Totally worth it.0

I used it for years and loved it. Much better than the cheapy stuff I used before I found it. But then I started getting tired of the expense and thus experimented with drugstore versions of mineral makeup, and found options in a few different brands that I liked just as well. Covergirl mineral foundation, Loreal mineral concealer, and Maybelline mineral finishing powder. My motivation was that I'm a couponer and I was able to find deals that allowed me to try these products for free, and I liked them so now I still buy them. ;-)0

I love it! The knock-offs do NOT compare.0

Same! It's not cheap, but the foundation lasts me well over a month. So it's not that bad!0 -
Love it! Very few skin issues even when I use it every day. The only complaint I have is with the powdered eye liner/shadows. They are so fine they "drift" to your cheeks when you apply them and then you have to wash and re apply any makeup you already had put on.0

Okay, that is good to know because a few years ago i did try a different mineral makeup and thought it sucked lol0 -
I love it, but sign up for QVC's newsletter from BE when it's going to be on, they have autoshop specials now and then that are just too good to pass up.0

I've used it a couple of times, and it works really well, especially for my sensitive skin. It makes your skin look naturally clear and luminous.0

I'm a cheap-*kitten* so I don't buy it.
But on the occasions where I have used my sister's..... amazing. I have bad skin, but you wouldn't know it when I used this stuff!0 -
I think buying the starter kit is a good way to go.
At the time I paid about $65 for it and it included all of the brushes (which on their own can be $25 each).
Depending on how much coverage you need, I definitely recommend getting the concealer and the kabuki brush.0 -
Yep, I love it. I will say that while I do like E.L.F.'s mineral makeup as far as their blush and shimmer powder and setting powder, the foundation just is not nearly as good. So moral of the story: buy the other mineral stuff from E.L.F. because it's tons cheaper and has nicer color, but buy the foundation from Bare Minerals.0

I use the concealer, the foundation and the mascara (that's all I wear) and I really love them.0

The starter kit is a good value if you plan to use most of the items in it. But if you need single items, eBay or qvc sometimes have good deals.0 -
I love Bare Minerals! It helped my oily skin clear up. It is a bit pricey but I have been able to really make mine stretch since you don't really need a lot of it.0

I used to use it, and really liked it, but i needed a bit more coverage for sun spots than what it provided, so I switched to Clinique and use a liquid again, with powder over the top.0

yes! freaking best make up I ever owned. It actually helped my skin, after like a year of use whatever acne I had completely went away, my skin improved so much so than I stopped using it cause I didn't have to. I started using again like a 8mo ago cause my skin sometimes is such uneven tone, especially after workouts or after I get ready in the morning. All the other cover-ups I ever used made me break out sooooo bad, thank god my mom got me bare minerals, I will never use any other product!0

I use the foundation and blush and LOVE LOVE LOVE them. My skin is glowy.
I hate the eyeshadow, because of the fallout of the powder and I like my eyeshadow to be a little more dramatic.0 -
Worth every penny. If you have issues with liquid foundation looking like its flaking off than this is the foundation for you. Also, if you have any redness to your skin they have an anti-redness treatment that works great!0

I tried it and broke out like I had just hit puberty! The only makeup I've ever used that I had that kind of reaction to. :frown:0
-
Use it and love it! I've been using it for about 6 years or so and don't suffer the breakouts I did when I used a liquid base and a powder finisher.0

I SWEAT by the Mineral Veil and the 'Warmth', but I am highly disappointed that the foundation tens to settle in the lines around my eyes..It IS really great stuff, tho. You can even sleep in it, it's so pure!
Definitely worth the money!0 -

That's weird! It's actually cleared up my skin, when I use it regularly. But nothing is completely hypoallergenic, so it stands to reason that it would affect some people negatively. I'm sorry that happened.0 -
Love it! If you go to Sephora or Ulta they will help you pick out the right colors and help you learn how to apply it.0
-
The stuff they want you to use for "primer" gave me a horrible rash!!!
And although I like the make-up, it's no different for me than the Mary Kay mineral powder which is more matching to my skin tone anyway. And cheaper.
I do like the mineral powders much better than the liquids or other cakey crap you can buy.0 -
Oh my God, I LOOOOVVVVEEEE Bare Minerals. It's seriously boosted my self-esteem and what started my love affair with makeup. I NEVER wore makeup before BE. I'm lucky in that my mom buys me mine every year for Christmas and I have pretty good skin and don't use much, so a large pot lasts me all year until she buys it the next time. I'll never use anything else.0

i just bought the starter kit. ended up getting a great deal on it because the lady rang it up wrong (paid 30 dollars instead of 60, no complaints there). i was getting sick of liquid foundation looking like it's disappeared by the end of the day.
i like it so far. it stays on much longer, because sometimes when i take my makeup off at night i can see it on the wipe. i love the warmth stuff. it's dark without being obnoxious. a little dash of that goes a long way, and i don't look so ghostly in photos. i like how it feels on my face as opposed to liquid foundation.
i'm not sure if it's just winter coming, but i've noticed that in the past couple of weeks (when i started using it), my skin has been very dry. i have no problem with moisturizing more but it's a little annoying having flaky skin when i can't get to my moisturizer. like right now my forehead is absolutely terrible.
my advice - try it at the store, see how you like it throughout the day before buying it.0
