On Facebook 5 months and still undisciplined.

Been on MYFITNESPAL (oops) for 5 months and still too undisciplined to do what I need to do to lose the weight. Anyone else? It seems like it's just a matter of doing like 3 or 4 things simultaneously for it to happen. Things which I haven't been able to make happen all at once. Just some venting. Not giving up though. I urge anyone else in my situation to keep trying! :)

It can be hard at times! It took me ages to get into this, I would do it for a week and then give up, but I am now seeing the results! So it is worth it all

I was in the same boat. With me it became a mind set and telling myself I can do this. When I started my weight was all over the place but did not give up. It took me a few months for things to start falling in to place, now that they have I am seeing victories in many different way. Don't give up it just takes time. Please don't give up.

It's a mental switch. Once you get there and that switch flips ...the weight comes off and you get healthier. List all the reasons why you want to be healthier. Then list all the reasons why you choose to not do it or to eat over those things on the other list. Everytime you choose not to do something you should your putting it above the reasons on that list. Kinda woke me up.

    Nichole

    LOL

Every person I know who has done this for any decent amount of time has been able to get closer to their goals. So the question is do you really want to reach your goals? If so, you know what to do

It takes a few weeks of logging and looking at your diet and learning from your MFP peeps and actually making good choices before the weight starts to fall off. But, it will in time. You didn't get overweight overnight - slow and steady is the way to go.
