I love so many more at nearly the same level that it is really hard to pick. EJ and Beatles will always top the list. Also, Pink Floyd, Boston, Kansas, Bee Gees, Simon and Garfunkle, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Josh Groban, Gloria Estefan, Carol King.... I also like a bunch of newer bands/artists that just haven't stood the test of time for me yet but may someday top the list.0 -

I agree with everyone... it's very hard to pick only 5! Here's what I decided on:
1. Hanson - I've loved them since I was 13 - It's music I've grown up to. They are still making music and have been steadily releasing albums since 1997. If you're curious - here's a link to a recent video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56VPiS8dPDE. Their music my "feel good" music that I put on when I'm sad/depressed/angry
2. Darren Hayes (formerly of Savage Garden.. Now doing his own solo work). Again, I've loved his music since I was in my teens.
3. Alanis Morissette
4. Jason Mraz
5. Florence + the Machine - This is more "for the moment". I've been listening to her new album constantly since it came out. I love it!0 -
Air
Pixies
Queen
Stéphane Pompougnac - mainly for his annual Hotel Costes lounge compilations. Looooove
David Bowie
and my trifecta of epic is Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, and Michael Jackson - if only all THREE of them could have performed together!!!!0 -
TOOL forever and ever
Alice In Chains
Pantera
Megadeth
Pearl Jam0 -
Type O Negative
Rammstein
Pearl Jam
Buddy Holly
Weezer0 -
GAGA0
